Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent damage of the surface of a photoreceptor even when mechanical stress is applied to both a cleaning blade and a photosensitive drum and to bring both into contact automatically with high precision, by providing the cleaning blade nearly in the radial direction of the photosensitive drum in a free sliding state.
