Conventionally, in this type of decorative material, in order to compensate for the monotony of the decorative surface caused by a simple printed pattern, it has been practiced to create a three-dimensional effect on the decorative surface using a raised pattern of foamed resin.

For example, a thermoplastic sheet containing a foaming agent is laminated on the surface of a base material, a pattern is printed on the surface of the sheet using printing ink containing a foaming accelerator, and the area printed with the ink pattern is heated. Forms a raised pattern on the foamed decorative surface by strongly foaming (Special Publication No. 43-157)
No. 13).

In this decorative board, a raised pattern is formed on the decorative surface, so a three-dimensional effect is extracted compared to a decorative surface with a simple printed pattern. However, because the surface of the foaming ridges is hidden by the printing ink, it is not possible to express the subtle changes in texture that are expressed by the differences in the degree of ridges caused by foaming, and the patterns that appear with this decorative material cannot be expressed. is only represented by a normal foamed area and a strongly foamed surface covered with printing ink. Another known example is that when printing a pattern on a foamed resin coating using a printing ink containing a foaming accelerator, the amount of printing ink is increased or decreased in some areas to reduce the adhesion of the ink. By varying the amount and amount of foam accelerator deposited, the pattern is foamed more than in the normal non-printed areas, and the degree of foaming is also varied in the pattern printed areas depending on the density of the ink, thereby creating changes in the pattern. There are some that are attached (Tokuko Showa 46-1)
No. 3929). However, this is also printed on the surface, and the pattern is not expressed by the degree of protrusion caused by foaming. On the other hand, instead of placing a printed pattern on the foamed pattern, the pattern is printed on the surface of the base material in advance using printing ink containing amine substances, and then a topcoat is applied on top of that using a synthetic resin mixed with acid. There is a method (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 48-99266) in which an amine substance mixes with an acid and emits a large amount of gas to form a bubble pattern in a synthetic resin coating.

According to this method, the pattern can be created depending on the presence or absence of air bubbles, but since the printed pattern in the lower layer is completely covered by the synthetic resin coating, the layer of the synthetic resin where the air bubbles are present must be scraped off. If it is used as a surface, it will have a square shape, and if it is used as a decorative surface, it can only be changed in two ways: a foamed resin surface and a non-foamed resin surface. In addition, as previously proposed by the present applicant, after applying a base treatment to the surface of the base material, only patterns such as wood grain patterns and conduit grooves are printed on the surface using a thermoplastic resin containing a foaming agent and then heated. , which forms a foamed raised pattern on the decorative surface (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1983-50809)
There is. This decorative board creates a three-dimensional effect by making the foam raised pattern itself appear on the decorative surface, but since the raised pattern itself only has a uniform foam height, the three-dimensional effect is one step further. There is a lack of change. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide an improved method for producing a decorative material to give a three-dimensional effect and variation to the decorative surface.

That is, the printed ink pattern and the foamed resin pattern are printed so that they partially overlap each other. and,
As the printing ink, a commonly used maleic acid-based ink or nitrocellulose-based ink was used, and as the foaming resin, a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate-based or ethylene-vinyl acetate-based paint containing an azobis-based blowing agent was used. When heat treatment was applied to the decorative material obtained in this way, the thermoplastic resin containing the foaming agent showed a stronger degree of foaming in the areas overlapping the normal printed pattern than in other areas, and the foamed pattern was It was found that a unique phenomenon of uneven appearance occurs. By being able to give raised changes to the foamed resin pattern itself, it is possible to obtain a decorative material that exhibits extremely complex changes and is full of three-dimensionality. This will be explained below based on the illustrated example.

In the figure, 1 is a substrate, 2 is a printed ink pattern using maleic acid-based ink or nitrocellulose-based ink, and 3 is a printed foam resin pattern using vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, or ethylene vinyl acetate-based paint containing an azobis-based blowing agent. Yes, there is a printed ink pattern 2 in the foam layer 3' after the paint foams.
The overlapping portion 3'a is foamed more strongly than the other portion 31b, resulting in a high convexity.

As the printing ink for forming the printed pattern 2, a commonly used maleic acid ink or nitrocellulose ink is used, and it is not necessary that the ink has a new composition. Furthermore, the pattern is not printed over the entire surface of the substrate, but is printed partially so that a portion of the substrate surface is exposed. The paint for forming the foam pattern 3 is preferably a thermoplastic resin, especially a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate type resin, or an ethylene vinyl acetate type resin, to which an azobis type substance such as azodicarbonamide is added as a foaming agent. It will be done.

The pattern formed by this foamed paint is a partial pattern, similar to the pattern 2 formed by printing ink, and is formed so that a portion overlaps with the ink pattern 2. When heat treatment is applied to the substrate on which the printed patterns 2 and 3 are formed in this manner, the foamed resin pattern 3 is foamed.

The bubbling occurs strongly in the part overlapping with the printed ink pattern 2, and as a result, the foamed part 3'a on the printed ink pattern
forms a protrusion more than the other portion 3'b. As described above, according to the present invention, by overlaying a foamed resin pattern on a normal printed ink pattern in a shifted manner, it is rich in variation, and in combination with the raised and lowered ridges of the foamed resin pattern itself, a three-dimensional effect is created. A decorative material having a surface is obtained.

The foamed resin pattern layer of this decorative board was unique in that the portion overlapping the stripe pattern protruded approximately twice as much as the other portions. Example 2 After applying a base treatment to the surface of a hard fiberboard with a sealer and forming a base coat with an opaque paint, a floral pattern was printed using a nitrocellulose gravure ink.

This floral pattern expressed differences in shading by varying the amount of gravure ink in different parts. Next, using a paint made by adding an azodicarbonamide blowing agent to a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate emulsion paint, a pattern partially overlapping the previous floral pattern was printed using a screen printer, and the pattern was dried at room temperature. The substrate with the ink pattern printed thereon is fed into an infrared heating furnace for 120 minutes.
A heat treatment was applied for 60 seconds at a temperature of ~140°C to obtain a decorative board having a foam resin pattern.
