Abstract

PURPOSE:To connect a call arriving at an extension telephone set or extension group through ther extension telephone set by the same operation as normal extension dialing, by providing the extension telephone set set or extension group with a pickup number similar to a normal extension number. CONSTITUTION:When a representative subscriber performs pickup operation from an extension telephone set 1X by using an extension telephone set 1Y. Dial information from the telephone set 1Y is transmitted to a control part 4. For example, when a pickup number 400 is dialed, it is judged from data in a memory part 3 that the number is the pickup number of a telephone set 1A (number 200) and it is called from the telephone set 1X. Then, the control part 4 indicates the stop of the ringing tone of 1A and also sends indications to subscriber circuits 2X and 2Y so that the telephone sets 1X and 1Y are placed in a service state. Further, the connection of the telephone sets 1X and 1Y is indicated to a connection network 5.

Conventional structure and its problems Traditionally, when a call is received by a person who is away from the office or has gone home, the caller must be picked up by someone nearby, or if the person is too far away. was left as is. In recent years, with the installation of electronic converters and other features, telephones have become more multifunctional, and in the above cases, a function is being used that allows a person in another location to answer an incoming call by dialing using their own telephone. In this case, it is very convenient because you do not have to go all the way to the place where the phone is ringing, but since it is different from the normal incoming call operation, you have to operate functions such as hooking - special number - the number of the phone to pick up. The operations described above are required. In particular, as electronic converters become more multi-functional, special numbers become more complex, leading to unexpected confusion or operational errors. The example above shows how to pick up incoming calls from individual telephones, but if multiple extension phones are grouped together and a representative number is assigned to it, then when picking up incoming calls for that group, The same is true.

When the number of calls to be picked up is not that large, the pick-up operation is performed even if the operation is a little troublesome, but when the number of calls received is large, even the pick-up operation becomes troublesome.

Structure of the Invention The present invention provides an extension telephone and an extension group with a number of the same kind as the extension number they have as a pick-up number. This system is configured so that the user can answer an incoming call by dialing the corresponding pick-up number using the same operation as when making a normal extension call, without having to perform any other function operations.

A storage memory unit 4 checks the status of the subscriber circuit 2, and from the contents of the memory 3, controls various signal tones to the subscriber circuit 4, decodes the dialing information of the extension telephone 1, and controls the connection. A control section 5 is in charge of all controls of the exchange, such as issuing instructions, and a connection network 5 is connected according to instructions from the control section 4. Figure 2 (a,

For example, when a caller uses extension telephone 1 (x) to make an extension call, when the handset (not shown) is raised, it is detected by subscriber circuit 2 (3) and transmitted to control unit 4. . The control unit 4 sets the state of the data content extension telephone 1 (Xl) in the memory 3 to a busy state, instructs the subscriber circuit 2 (X) to send a dial toll, and waits for a dial signal from the extension telephone 1 (X). .

Next, when extension telephone 1 (4) performs a dialing operation to call called party 1 (8), the dial information is transferred to subscriber circuit 2.
(3) is transmitted to the control unit 4. The control unit 4 issues a dial tone stop instruction at the first digit and identifies the called party based on the dial information. For example, if the dial of the called party 14 is 200, the control unit 4 determines that the called party is extension 1 (A) from the data shown in FIG. 2(a) in the memory unit 3. It instructs (3) to send out a ringing tone and instructs the subscriber circuit 2 (3) to send out a ringing backtone, and sets the state of each extension telephone in the memory section 3 to this state. This allows extension telephone 1 (
C) is a ringing tone, and 1(3) is a ringing back tone.

If the owner of extension telephone 1(A) is away from his/her seat, the ringing tone will not ring. However, if a person nearby uses extension telephone 1 (Y) to perform the pick-up operation, the operation is the same as that of extension telephone 1 (X) until the person picks up the handset of extension telephone 1 (Y) and dials. Dial information is transmitted to the control section 4 via the subscriber circuit 2 (Y) by dialing the extension telephone 1 (1). Assuming that 400 is dialed as the pickup number, from the content of the data shown in FIG. As shown, it can be seen that the call is coming from extension telephone 1 (X). Therefore, the control unit 4 instructs the extension telephone 1 (5) to stop ringing, and also instructs the extension telephone 1 (X), 1
(7) Instructs each subscriber circuit to place the circuit in a talking state. Furthermore, unless an instruction is given to the connection network 5 to connect the extension telephones 1(3) and 1(1), the extension telephones 1(3) and 1(Y) will be in a talking state.

(At this time, the contents of the memory section 3 shown in Fig. 2 Φ are also rewritten to the call status of telephones 1(3) and 1(Y).) Next, extension telephones 1(B) to 1(N) are If it is set as a group, a number is assigned to the group. In the above embodiment, the number 300 is given as shown in FIG. When the number 300 is dialed from another extension telephone, Asa's telephone is searched according to the order within the group (the operation thereof will not be specifically explained here).

Next, since it can be seen from the data in FIG. 3 that 300 constitutes a group, the status of extension telephones 1(B) to 1(F) belonging to that group is determined. Since it can be seen from the telephone status in FIG. 2 that the telephone in the calling state is 1 (C1), the calling telephone and extension telephone 1 (Q become the call) according to instructions from the control unit 4.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, by assigning a pick-up number similar to a normal extension number to an extension telephone or extension group, calls received on the extension telephone or extension group can be forwarded to other telephone extensions or extension groups. Since it is possible to dial an extension number using the same operation as normal extension dialing, it has the advantage of improving dialing operability and, in turn, improving the serviceability of the exchange.
