Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of inspection work and maintenance by printing out information for indicating the set condition of a printer as required. CONSTITUTION:A detector section 1 related to recording papers, a detector section 3 for outputting a signal pertaining to writing styles and a detector section 4 for outputting signals indicating states of switches are connected to a set condition memory circuit 2. When a control code for starting the recording of the set conditions of the printer is outputted from a host equipment 6, a judging circuit 5 outputs a pulse signal to an OR circuit 7 to trigger a memory circuit 2 whereby information at addresses is outputted to a recording section 9. When the operation switch of a switching circuit 8 is turned ON, a trigger signal is outputted from an OR circuit 7 and likewise, information on the set conditions is prined out. In this manner, informatin for indicating the set condition of the printer can be obtained as required thereby improving the efficiency of inspection work and maintenance.
