Abstract

PURPOSE:To irradiate ultraviolet light from all directions and conduct prompt and complete photosetting action by using a mold having permeability to ultraviolet light. CONSTITUTION:A photosetting molding material 1 is put in an ultraviolet-light permeable mold 2 to irradiate ultraviolet light to the mold 2 to photoset and mold the photosetting molding material 1. The photosetting molding material 1 is preferable to be a composition having photosetting function. Transparent synthetic resin such as glass, acryl resin, styrol resin, polymethyl pentel, etc. can be applied to the material of the ultraviolet permeable mold 2. Ultraviolet irradiation can be conducted by an ordinary ultraviolet irradiating device or a mercury arc lamp of any of low pressure, high pressure or superhigh pressure.

Conventionally, a photocurable molding material was put into a metal mold with an open top, for example, and molded by irradiating it with ultraviolet rays from above, but instead of irradiating it with ultraviolet rays from only one direction. For this reason, the photocurable molding material in the shaded areas where ultraviolet rays are not exposed will not harden. For this reason, especially in the case of liquid photocurable molding materials, it cannot be used as a mere coating agent or adhesive for articles. Its use was limited, as it was only used as a dehydrating agent.

The present invention was developed in view of these conventional problems. The purpose of the present invention is to use an ultraviolet-transparent mold to allow ultraviolet rays to be irradiated from all directions, thereby achieving rapid and complete photocuring. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for molding a photocurable molding material, which enables the molding process to be carried out.

That is, the molding method of the present invention uses a photocurable molding material (1)
into a UV-transparent mold (2),
It is characterized in that the photocurable molding material (1) is photocured by irradiation with K ultraviolet rays and molded. The photocurable molding material +11 in the present invention may be any composition having a photocuring function, and may include photocurable resins such as unsaturated polyester resins, acrylic resins, and epoxy resins, as well as acrylic acid, if necessary. It is made by blending photopolymerizable polymers or oligomers such as acrylamide, styrene, trimethylol-based triacrylate, photosensitizers such as pen-fin compounds and becisophenoy compounds, and other pigments.

In addition, a photosensitive agent may be blended with a photopolymerizable polymer or oligomer. This photocurable molding material (1) 7 may be liquid or solid. As the ultraviolet-transparent mold (2), a mold 7 made of glass or a transparent synthetic resin such as acrylic resin, styrene resin, polymethylpentyl, etc. can be used. However, since it is usually heated to stop photocuring, it is preferable to use a synthetic resin with a low melting point and softening point. preferable.

In particular, molds made of polymethylpentyl are most preferred because of their high mold releasability. 'Furthermore, in the method of the present invention, ultraviolet irradiation can be carried out using a conventional ultraviolet irradiation device, and any of a low pressure mercury lamp, a high pressure mercury lamp, an ultra-high pressure mercury lamp, etc. can be used.

In this way, in the method of the present invention, the photocurable molding material is put into an ultraviolet-transparent mold and irradiated with ultraviolet rays to be photocured and molded, so ultraviolet rays can be irradiated from all directions. Therefore, the photocurable molding material can be quickly and completely photocured without forming a so-called shadow area in the mold, and it can be suitably used when inserting precise parts. .
