Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of quality of dyed cloth by a method in which supply rolls for a dying paste and a colorless paste are alternately set correspondingly to each storage tank, and a carved portion and a non-carved portion are alternately provided to a carving roller. CONSTITUTION:A dying paste 7 in a dying paste storage tank 1 is supplied to a carving roll 3 by a supply roll 2 and then scraped down by a scraper 4 so as to form a properly thin layer before being touched by a cloth 6 to be printed. The dying paste storage tank 1 is set alternately with a colorless paste storage tank 1' through a partition plate 8. In the carving roll 3, a carving portion 3' and a non-carving portion 3 are alternately provided correspondingly to the dying paste storage tank 1 and the colorless paste storage tank 1', and coated with corresponding pastes by supply rolls 2 and 2'.
