Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a fret saw blade with sawing teeth almost uniformly distributed around the blade, by performing punching to make sawing teeth on at least one side of a steel band and by twisting the band at a prescribed pitch and then quenching it. CONSTITUTION:A band 2, which has a prescribed length and has a sawing teeth part 1 at one side edge, is manufactured by a conventional process. The band 2 is twisted at a prescribed pitch along the total length of the sawing teeth part 1. For example, the twisting pitch is such that three sawing teeth 1a are located for each round. After the twisting, the band 2 is quenched, thus manufacturing a fret saw blade 3. If sawing teeth are provided on both the side edges of a steel band by punching, a fret saw blade with a higher density of sawing teeth is obtained. The sawing teeth can be moved forth as they are doing the cutting in an arbitrary direction.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a jig saw blade, the purpose of which is to produce a jig saw blade in which saw teeth are almost uniformly scattered around the entire circumference.

Conventional scroll saw blades are manufactured by punching a piece of steel into a predetermined shape and then hardening it. Therefore, when cutting using a conventional jig saw blade, the cutting direction is limited to one predetermined direction and cannot be moved in any direction, so it is necessary to cut the saw deeply.

However, in this invention, a strip of raw silk with saw teeth punched out on at least one side is twisted to a predetermined pitch and then quenched.
This method has succeeded in easily mass-producing a jig saw blade that has serrations around the entire circumference, and the jig saw blade manufactured by this method can cut in any direction while cutting. Restrictions due to depth can be significantly reduced.

以下この発明を図面に示す実施例に基づいて説明する。The present invention will be described below based on embodiments shown in the drawings.

1 steel is punched out to form a strip 2 having a predetermined length and having a sawtooth section 1 on one side. This band-shaped body 2 has a shape similar to that of a conventionally known jig saw blade (FIG. 1).

Next, the band-shaped body 2 is twisted at a predetermined pitch (for example, at a pitch of three saw teeth 1a of the saw tooth portion 1) over the entire length of the saw tooth portion 1, and is then hardened to form a thread saw blade 3.

In the above embodiment, the sawtooth portion 1 is formed on one side by punching.
However, as shown in FIG. 4, it is also possible to punch-form a belt-shaped body with sawtooth portions 1 on both sides and twist it. If sawtooth parts 1 are provided on both sides in this way,
When twisted into a product, the sawtooth density can be covered relatively densely, and better sharpness can be obtained.

Next, a method of using the scroll saw blade manufactured according to the present invention will be explained. As shown in FIG. 5, when obtaining the desired shape of the cutting edge 5 at the center of the plate 4, the scroll saw blade is moved as shown by the arrow 6.
7. Move as in 8. Here, if the scroll saw blade manufactured according to the present invention is used, it is possible to proceed while cutting in any direction, so the saw blade 9 is always positioned on one side of the plate 4 and the scroll saw blade is moved as shown by the arrow 6. It can be cut and covered by moving it as in 7.8. Therefore, the depth of the serrations 9 only needs to be equal to the maximum length l between one side edge of the four plates 4 and the cutting edge. By the way, when using a conventional scroll saw blade, arrow 6
.. 7.8 In order to change the direction of movement of the scroll saw blade, the direction of the saw must be changed. Therefore, for example, in order to avoid progressing while cutting in the direction of arrow 7, the sawtooth 9a should be set as indicated by l in FIG. The depth shown in is required.

In other words, according to this invention, a steel is punched into an elongated shape with serrations, then twisted and then quenched to make a jigsaw blade, making it easy to make a jigsaw blade with serrations all around the circumference. can be obtained.

However, since conventional jig saw manufacturing only involves adding a twisting process to the culm, the increase in manufacturing costs due to the increase in the number of processes is almost negligible.
This product has the advantage of being able to be manufactured with 11N5 rating, which is almost the same as conventional products. Further, since the jig saw blade manufactured according to the present invention has saw teeth all around the circumference, it can advance while cutting in any direction, and can reduce restrictions due to the depth of the saw.
