Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain to improve the workability in the local surface treatment of a work, by providing a means wherein the work is conveyed on a guide rail while tumbled under own weight or by adding external force and only the flange part thereof is immersed in a treating liquid. CONSTITUTION:A work W is placed on the starting ends of guide rails 11, 12 so as to utilize the shaft part S thereof as a tumbling surface. The work W is tumbled on the obliquie surfaces 11b, 12b of said rails under own weight in such a state that the shaft part S is utilized as the tumbling surface to reach horizontal surfaces 11a, 12a of said rails and the belt 17 of a belt conveyor 13B is contacted with the outer periphery of the flange part F of the work W under pressure. By this mechanism, the work W is tumbled and conveyed on the guide rails 11, 12 while immersed in the trearting liquid within a tank 2. Because the horizontal parts 11a, 12a of the guide rails 11, 12 are set in the height thereof so as to be made close to the liquid level in the tank 2, only the flange part F of the work W is immersed in the liquid within the tank 2 and chemical forming treatment is applied thereto.

For example, like a disc brake rotor, the shaft part and the disc-shaped 7
For example, an apparatus having the structure shown in Figs. 1 and 2 is used to apply chemical conversion treatment to only the 7 rank parts of a so-called plate-shaped workpiece (hereinafter simply referred to as the workpiece) consisting of rank parts, excluding the shaft part. There is. The chemical conversion treatment referred to here is a type of surface treatment method for the purpose of improving rust prevention (rust resistance). ) A barrel work is immersed, and tertiary zinc phosphate is deposited on the surface of the work to form a phosphoric acid lead film. That is, as shown in FIG.
Water washing process - Chemical conversion treatment process 1 - 2nd water washing process - 3rd water washing process in the order of 1st water washing tank 1. A chemical conversion tank 21, a second water washing tank 3, and a third water washing tank 4 are arranged in parallel, and of these, the chemical conversion tank 2 stores the chemical conversion treatment liquid containing the primary phosphoric acid brewed lead mentioned above as a main component. on the other hand,
Fresh water is stored in each of the washing tanks 1, 3.4. Further, above each tank 1, 2° 3.4, a conveyor 5 consisting of a rail 6 and a plurality of hangers 7, 7 running along the rail 6 is arranged, The work W supported by each hanger 7 is transferred from the first washing tank 1 to the chemical conversion tank 2 and further to the second and third washing tanks 3.
.. The chemical conversion treatment described above is performed by sequentially immersing the sample into each tank. Here, since the chemical conversion treatment is intended to be applied only to the flange portion F of the workpiece W, conventionally, as shown in FIG. The shaft portion S is thereby prevented from being subjected to chemical conversion treatment.

However, according to the above-mentioned conventional chemical conversion treatment equipment, work efficiency is poor because it is necessary to attach and detach rubber boots for masking when attaching and detaching the workpiece to the conveyor (hanger), and the actual work content is However, there is a problem in that the conveyor is expensive, leading to a rise in overall equipment costs.

In view of the above points, this invention was made with the aim of improving the workability of the work. For this purpose, in the present invention, by applying the work's own weight or external force, the shaft portion is moved to the transfer surface. It is characterized in that it is conveyed on a guide rail while being rotated, and during the conveyance process, only the seven tank portions are immersed in the treatment liquid to locally perform surface treatment such as chemical conversion treatment.

13B, 13C, and 13D all have the same configuration, so only the conveyor 713B will be explained. This belt comparer 13B has its drive shaft parallel to the guide rails 11 and 12 as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. 14
In addition to a relatively wide endless belt 17Ij, which is passed between the upper driving roller 15 and the driven roller 16, an auxiliary roller 18, and a motor 19 for rotationally driving the bell 17. The belt 17, which is composed of a V-belt 22, etc., comes into pressure contact with the outer circumferential surface of the workpiece W that is rolling under its own weight on the inclined parts 11b and 12'b of the guide rail 11.12, as will be described later. , the work W is sequentially conveyed to the next process along guide rails 11 and 12.

First, as shown in FIG. 3, the work W placed on the starting end of the guide rail 11, 12 with the shaft S serving as a transfer surface is stopped by hitting the stopper 23, and is stored at that position. Then, when the stopper 23 moves downward due to the operation of the cylinder 24, the workpiece W is moved by its own weight to the shaft portion S.
The workpiece W rolls on the slopes 111) and 121) as rolling surfaces and reaches the horizontal parts 11a and 12a, and the belt 17 of the belt conveyor 13A comes into pressure contact with the outer periphery of the flange part F of the workpiece W. While immersed in the water in the washing tank 1, it rolls on guide rails 11 and 12 and is conveyed to the right in the figure. Here, the horizontal part Ha of the guide rail 11.12
, 12a is set so that it barely touches the liquid level in the tank 1, so only the flange portion F of the workpiece W is immersed in the water in the tank 1, and the first water washing process is performed. .

Next, the workpiece W that has been subjected to the first water washing treatment is transported to the chemical conversion tank 2 side where the chemical conversion process is performed by the above-mentioned weight transfer and forced rolling by the belt, and here too, only the flange portion F is subjected to the chemical conversion process. Since it is immersed in the treatment liquid, only the flange portion F is subjected to a chemical conversion treatment containing dibasic zinc phosphate as a main component. The workpiece W that has undergone the chemical conversion treatment process in this manner similarly passes through the second water washing tank 3 that is the second water washing process and the third water washing tank 4 that is the third water washing process, and then passes through the terminal end portion 110 of the guide rail 11.12. It will be carried out at 120.

In each of the above embodiments, the case of chemical conversion treatment was explained, but the present invention can be applied to any surface treatment other than chemical conversion treatment such as painting or plating. It goes without saying that the height, width, speed, etc. of the workpiece can be adjusted as appropriate depending on the size of the workpiece.
