Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunction of a copying machine owing to an improper position of a drum support frame and a guide frame for recording paper by latching the drum support frame by means of the right and left side plates of the guide frame in a set position. CONSTITUTION:A drum support frame 7 is latched in a set position by means of right and left side plates 28, 29 of a guide frame 14 for recording paper in a set position and therefore the frame 7 is prevented from projecting to the outside of a machine frame 4 during the operation of a copying machine. The frame 7 is simply drawn out after the frame 14 is lowered to the position shown by a virtual line by a manual operation lever 25 to draw the frame 7 from the frame 4 and the frame 7 is returned to the imperfect position shown by an alternate long and short dash line.
