の穴より漏水が継続して行なわれるが、この場合、給湯
缶体内の水位が低下する過程で水位検知器が大気中に露
出し、その漏水を検知して循環ポンプの運転を停止させ
るもので、前記水位検知器は、給湯缶体から循環回路へ
の出口位置よりも上方に位置して設けているため、水位
検知器が熱交換器の穴からの漏水を検知して循環ポンプ
の運転を停止する際には、給湯缶体から循環回路への出
口位置はまだ水中にあり、したかって、循環ポンプが空
運転するようなことはなくなり、その結果、循環ポンプ
が空運転することによって、循環ポンプのコイルが異常
加熱されて損傷するという問題も未然に防止することが
