Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve saving of energy, by storing hot water according to the hot-water utilizing conditions by providing a control means for setting the temperature of stored hot water on the basis of the output signal of a means for detecting the temperature of supplied hot water and the output signal of a means for setting the hot-water utilizing conditins per one day. CONSTITUTION:A heating means 5, a means 6 for deecting the temperature of stored hot water and a means 7 for detecting the temperature of supplied hot water are attached to a hot-water storing container 4, and a means 9 for setting the hot-water utilizing conditions per one day is connected to a control means 8' via a signal wire 10. With such an arrangement, when a resistance R6 is set by the setting means 9, the voltage produced by the resistance R6 and that produced by a thermistor resistance R3 serving as the means 7 for detecting the temperature of supplied hot water are compared by a comparator C. In case that the volage produced by the resistance R3 is higher than that produced by a resistance R1, that is, in case that the temperature of stored hot water is lower than a set temperature, a heater H is set into operation by feeding current to a coil E and energizing a relay RX. By thus setting the temperature of stored hot water on the basis of both of the hot-water utilizing conditions and the temperature of supplied hot water, it is enabled to achieve saving of energy.

In this configuration, the supply water temperature detection means 7 is controlled by the control device 8.
Since the heating means 5 is operated based on the difference between the hot water storage temperature set from the signal and the signal from the hot water temperature detection means 6, the hot water storage temperature is determined regardless of the hot water usage status, and on days when hot water usage is low, the amount of remaining hot water is reduced. As the amount of heat increases, heat is radiated from the can body 4, resulting in a problem of increased energy loss.

With this configuration, the heating means is operated as much as possible to reach the hot water storage temperature set based on the water supply temperature and the hot water usage state, so that hot water is stored in accordance with the actual hot water usage usage, resulting in a small amount of remaining hot water and energy-saving hot water supply. DESCRIPTION OF AN EXAMPLE Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3.

The resistance of the thermistor as , R4 is the supply water temperature detection means 7

In the above configuration, setting means 9 for setting the hot water supply usage state
When the resistance R6 is set, the combined resistance R4 shown by equation (1) is determined by the resistance R5 of the thermistor as the supply water temperature detection means 7, and the resistance R4 of the thermistor as the resistance R1 and the thermistor as the hot water temperature detection means 6 is determined. The voltages generated by and are compared by comparator C, and if the voltage of resistor R3 is higher than resistor R1, that is, if the hot water storage temperature is lower than the set temperature, current is applied to coil E and relay RXf is turned on. Operate electric heater H. Therefore, as shown in equation (1), the hot water storage temperature is set based on both the hot water usage status and the water supply temperature, so in home hot water storage type water heaters where the hot water usage status changes daily, there is no residual hot water quantity, which saves energy. It is.

Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described. The difference from the above embodiment is that the resistor R6 as the means 9 for setting the hot water supply usage state is not a continuously variable resistance, but the hot water usage state in a general household is largely changed by whether or not a bath is taken and the use of a shower. Therefore, we decided to divide resistor R6 into three modes: ■bath, ■shower only, and ■no bath/shower, and added a switch (Fig. 2, 11) to select the three modes. According to this configuration, the hot water supply usage state can be easily set, and reliable energy savings can be achieved.

That is, since the hot water storage temperature is set based on the water supply temperature and the hot water usage state, the hot water is used up without generating any residual hot water, and the amount of heat radiated from the hot water storage tank is reduced, resulting in energy savings.
