た内燃エンジンにおいて、前記シリンダブロックの側壁
外面所定位置に、所定の容積を有し前記側壁所定位置に
穿設した小孔を介して前記シリンダと連通し、且つ上部
が開口する第１の室を前記シリンダブロックと一体に形
成畝前記シリンダブロック上に配設するシリンダヘッド
の側壁に所定の容積を有し前記第１の室の開口部と対向
して下方に開口する第２の室を前記シリンダヘッドと一
体に形成し、前記第１、第２室の開口部の各端面同士を
密着させて１つの副室を形成したことを特徴とする副室
