Generally, the honeycomb core 1 is as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
A desired honeycomb shape is formed by stacking a large number of base papers 2 coated with glue 3 at predetermined locations and stretching the base papers 2 in the vertical direction.

However, although the honeycomb core 1 is extremely easy to manufacture as described above, it has a strong tendency to shrink in the vertical direction in Figure 2 due to the restoring force of the base paper 2 itself, and if left in its natural state, the honeycomb shape will change. It gradually becomes oblong. Conventionally, therefore, steam is sprayed onto the stretched material and the material is dried using infrared rays to prevent shrinkage. However, even if the post-processing is performed as described above, it is not possible to completely prevent the shrinkage of the honeycomb core 1, and there is a risk that the honeycomb shape will vary depending on the product, and the manufacturing process will be complicated due to the post-processing. It had the disadvantage of becoming.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional technology, and its purpose is to continuously manufacture honeycomb cores that always maintain a constant honeycomb shape and are easily adhered to panels etc. using a simple device. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a honeycomb core that can be produced.

The paper honeycomb 11 and the surface papers 13 and 14 are made of the same material, so although the adhesive area between them is small,
Sufficient adhesive strength can be obtained with ordinary glue. Then, the stretched paper honeycomb 11 tries to contract in the direction of arrow A, but at the same time tries to expand in the direction of arrow B, so these forces are regulated by the surface papers 13 and 14.
Even if the surface paper is thin, there is no fear that the surface paper will wrinkle, and the paper honeycomb 11 can be maintained in the desired honeycomb shape. FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram showing the method for manufacturing the honeycomb core, in which base papers 12 (see FIG. 1) glued alternately at predetermined locations are laminated in the horizontal direction and are continuously passed through flat belts 15 and 16. the tip of the base paper 12 to the roller 17

The circumferential speed of this roller 17 is set to, for example, several tens of times the conveyance speed of the flat belts 15 and 16, and the laminated base paper 12 is stretched between the flat belt 15 and the roller 17, and is stretched as desired. It is formed into a honeycomb shape. This paper honeycomb 11 is introduced in a stretched state between a roll coater 18 in which adhesive 19 is stored between two large and small rollers 18a and 18b, and is adhered to both upper and lower surfaces of the paper honeycomb 11 by the large roller 18a. Agent 19 is applied. Immediately after the roll coater 18, the facing papers 13 and 14 pulled out from the webs 20 and 21 are pressed against both the upper and lower surfaces of the paper honeycomb 11, and while passing through a drying chamber 22, they are continuously pressed and bonded by a group of pressing rollers 23. It is pasted. Note that the conveyance speed of the pressing roller group 23 and the roll coater 18 is the same as the conveyance speed of the roller 17. thus,
The continuously formed honeycomb core 10 is cut into appropriate lengths by a cutting machine 24, inspected and packaged, and then shipped as a product. Note that if the cutting blade 25 of the cutter 24 is configured to move in an inclined direction according to the conveyance speed of the honeycomb core 10 as shown in FIG. 5, it is possible to cut the end of the honeycomb core 10 vertically. Of course, it is possible to cut the honeycomb core 10 continuously without cutting the honeycomb core 10 in any way.

In addition, the manufacturing equipment with the above configuration can be used not only to manufacture honeycomb cores that are loaded inside panels, but also to manufacture so-called mass-produced fusuma panels in which the surface paper is paperboard with aluminum foil pasted on the entire outer surface. Of course, it can also be applied.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, the base papers alternately glued at predetermined locations are stacked in a horizontal direction and stretched into a honeycomb shape by the speed difference between a flat belt and a roller.
Since the surface paper is applied to both sides using a pressure roller in this state, there is no need for post-treatment to prevent shrinkage, which is required in the past, simplifying the equipment and simplifying the entire manufacturing process from base paper to honeycomb core. Since the process is carried out continuously, the work can be streamlined and fully mechanized, significantly improving productivity.
