【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はエンジンにおける防塵装置に関するもので、例
えばコンバイン等収穫機に搭載されたエンジンに対し藁
屑及び種々塵埃類が付着介入するのを防止し、殊に介入
する塵埃類が該遠心性にて起動プーリの吸気側端内周域
に強固に滞留するのを防止することによってエンジンの
冷却性能を長期に亘って正常なものとすべくなされたも
のであり、従ってその特徴とするところは、クランクケ
ースの一側に突出するファン取付軸に副流式の起風ファ
ンが設けられ、 該ファンの周囲からシリンダへ起生風を導通する導風カ
バーがファンの外周域を覆うように設けられ、 該導風カバーのファン側外端面はファンの外端面より外
方に位置し、 前記ファンの外端面中心部には、小径部と大径部とから
成る段付の筒状起動用プーリがファンと同心状に取付け
られ、 該プーリの大径部は軸方向外端部に位置してその外端面
は開口しており、該大径部の外周面にロープ巻掛溝が形
成され、かつ小径部の周面には吸気連通口が開設され、 前記小径部の外方端コーナ部と大径部の外方端開口縁間
に戴頭円錐状の除塵ガイドが設けられ、かつ、大径部の
開口部には防塵用網状体が施蓋状に且つプーリと一体回
転可能に取付けられ、該防塵用網状体の外周縁と大径部
の開口縁間には前記除塵ガイドの傾斜に沿って内外を連
通する除塵口が開設され、 一方、大径部の肩部には小径部の外周域を覆う吸気連結
筒が設けられ、該連結筒の内端面は前記導風カバーの外
端面に所定間隙を有して対向し、該連結筒の周面には内
外を連通する吸気口が開設され、 前記吸気連結筒の内端部外周面には、前記間隙から径外
方へ起風自在とする除塵用ファンが設けられている点に
ある。

却性能を初期の高度なる状態に維持できる。
