PURPOSE:To simplify the control and to economize the device, by duplicating a controller of a remote device system, and providing a discriminating means whether or not a signal flows in each control line to each remote device system, so as to attain the system switching for the control section or the like in response to the state of the line extended to a master device. CONSTITUTION:The remote device system comprises duplicated remote section controllers RCC0 and RCC1, a system controller CNT selecting the duplicated systems RCC0 and RCC1, a remote section device E to be controlled, and a communication controller CCU conneceted to duplicated control lines T#1, #0 for exchanging the control information with the master controller MCC. Further, the monitor means of a control line T is provided to communication controllers CCU0, CCU1, for example, so as to discriminate whether or not a signal flows in the control line T(#1, #0), and the system controller CNT connects either one of the remote section controllers RCC0, RCC1 to the remote section device E to be controlled from the result of discrimination.
