Claims

A face plate with a target formed on the inner face is sealed with a sealing material to the open end of a glass envelope in which an electron gun is provided and a deflection electrode is formed on the inner face, and a signal electrode extraction rod is implanted through the face plate. In the image pickup tube, a sensor electrode disposed opposite to the target is integrally fixed to the face plate via an adhesive made of soft metal, and a through-implant is installed in the face plate. An imaging tube characterized in that it is brought into contact with an electrode rod provided therein.
