材の係合歯と係合する掛止歯を有して前記第２ブレーキ
シユーに回動可能に設けられ、該調節部材の一方向の回
動を許容するが他方向の回動を阻止する掛止部材と、前
記第１ブレ゛−キシューと調節部材との間に配設されて
それ等の一定の距離以下の接近を阻止するとともに、そ
れ等第１ブレーキシユーと調節部材とを作動的に連結す
るストラット部材とを備え、該第１ブレーキシユーおよ
び前記第２ブレーキシユーの拡開時における離隔量が予
め定められた一定量を超えたとき、前記調節部材の回動
位置が変更されることにより、該一対のブレーキシュー
の前記回転ドラムとの間の作動間隙が自動的に調節され
