従来、丸形カッタによる切削加工においては、丸形カッ
タの使用に伴ない第1図に示すようにその刃先にかえり

中止してこの丸形カッタ1を取りはずし、手仕上または
機械研摩により再研摩して前記刃先のかえり1aの除去

れぞれの砥石ホルダ3の前端部内側面に保持した砥石4
の研削面が第3図に示すように互に千鳥状に組醋して丸
形カッタ1の刃先部を挾み対向するようにそれぞれの前
記軸着部2゜2を重ね合わせて、これら軸着部2.2に
おいて前記丸形カッタ1を支持する側板5に取付けた支
柱6.6に軸架したピン7を挿通して軸着するとともに
、各砥石ホルダ3.3の互の基端部なスプリング8で連
結して、前記各砥石ホルダ3.3に保持したそれぞれの
砥石4.4の研削面が前記丸形カッタ1の刃先両面に押
圧され、所定の刃先角αに研摩されるようにしたもので
ある。

削作業を中断させることなく常に丸形カッタ1の刃先な
切味のよい鋭利な状態に維持す0ことができ、丸形カッ
タ1による切削作業の能率を大幅に向上させることがで
きる。

削駆動させたまま平行して行なうことができ、切削作業
を中断することなく丸形カッタを常に良好な刃先条件で
連続使用でき、切削作業の能率を大幅に向上さゼること
ができるという効果を有する。
