片の接触部dが一直線になるように接触させているため
、刷子Bの各分岐片すがスリット溝部lを渡るときに生
じる電流の切り換えが同時に急激に起こり、刷子および
セグメントの電気的磨耗が大きい欠点があった。

ことを特徴とするので刷子がスリット溝部を渡るときに
生じる電流の切り換えが、除々に行われると共に分岐片
の横振動がなく、刷子およびセグメントの磨耗を簡単に
防止でき、モーターの寿命を長く出来る効果がある。
