BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, liquid detergents for kitchens such as vegetable and dishwashing have been mainly composed of compositions that utilize only the detergent power of surfactants. This type of cleaning agent has excellent cleaning power for cleaning vegetables and stains such as liquid oil, semi-solid oil, etc., but it is also effective for cleaning food that has been burnt or dried and solidified due to food cooking, solid oil, baking oil, etc. Their cleaning power is relatively weak, and granular, powdered, or liquid polishing cleansers are usually used as cleaning aids to clean tableware and cooking utensils that are contaminated with these substances.

On the other hand, various liquid cleaning compositions containing water-insoluble abrasives have recently been proposed. These cleaning agents are preferable because they have both normal cleaning power for removing non-adhesive stains and abrasive power for removing adherent stains. If the content of abrasive is increased in order to improve the quality of the product, there is a disadvantage that the abrasive powder contained therein tends to be more likely to damage the dyed object and the abrasive powder contained therein settles out during storage. If a composition is made that emphasizes dispersion stability in order to improve this, foaming properties and detergency will inevitably deteriorate. For this reason, there has been a demand for the development of an abrasive-containing cleaning composition that has excellent cleaning properties such as abrasive power, detergency, and foaming ability, and can maintain stability over a long period of time.

As a result of various studies to meet this demand, the present inventors found that a detergent containing a specific anionic surfactant and a water-insoluble abrasive that contains a certain type of clay has foaming properties. It has been found that the present invention is a cleaning agent that has excellent cleaning properties, foaming properties, and rinsing properties, and also has good dispersion stability for abrasive powder, and based on this knowledge, the present invention has been completed.

One of the anionic surfactants used in the liquid cleaning composition of the present invention is an anionic surfactant represented by the above general formula (1), in which the alkyl group R has 10 to 15 carbon atoms. It may be linear or branched as long as it is a straight chain.

However, if the number of carbon atoms is 9 or less, the surface activity decreases and the cleaning performance is weak, whereas if the number of carbon atoms is 16 or more, the foaming power of the composition becomes weak, which is not preferable. Furthermore, if the number of carbon atoms in R is outside the above range, no synergistic effect on cleaning performance can be expected in combination with the other anionic surfactant. In addition, the number n of moles of ethylene oxide added in the formula must be in the range of 1 to 7, but if the average number of moles of ethylene oxide added in the alkyl ether sulfate is within the above range, the It shows excellent cleaning performance, especially (b)
Desirable synergistic cleaning effects can be achieved through combination with other ingredients. Furthermore, M in the formula is an alkali metal such as potassium or sodium, ammonium or ammonium substituted with monoethanol, diethanol or triethanol, and a salt of two or more of the above cations is used as an alkyl ether sulfate. Mixed use is also possible.

In addition, component (b) used in combination with component 0 in the composition of the present invention is an alkylbenzene sulfonate having an alkyl group having 10 to 14 carbon atoms, and includes an alkali metal such as sodium and potassium, magnesium, etc. alkaline earth metal, ammonium, and lower alkanol-substituted ammonium salts. If the anionic surfactant component (b) has an alkyl group having a carbon number outside the above range, the cleaning performance will be poor and no excellent synergistic effect can be obtained in combination with the component (a).

The water-insoluble abrasive used as component (B) in the composition of the present invention has a Mohs hardness of 2 to 8, and has an average particle size of 1 to 40 μm and a content of particles of 50 μm or more in an amount of 40% by weight.
These are as follows. Those with a Mohs hardness of less than 2 have a small abrasive power and do not provide sufficient abrasiveness, while those with a Mohs hardness of more than 8 are undesirable because they tend to damage the object to be dyed. Examples of materials that have such a Mohs hardness and can be suitably used as abrasives include agate, calcite, quartz,
Mention may be made of alumina, diatomaceous earth, perlite, feldspar, aluminosilicate, calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, and the like. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more.

In the present invention, such a water-insoluble inorganic abrasive is used with its average particle size adjusted within the range of 1 to 40 microns. Fine particles with a particle size of less than 1 μm have good dispersion stability, but their abrasive power is extremely low, so it is preferable to remove them as much as possible. Also, particles with a particle size of 60 μm or more have excellent abrasiveness, but It is preferable to remove such coarse particles, since they not only easily damage equipment such as stainless steel and aluminum, but also settle to the bottom of the liquid cleaning agent, impairing dispersion stability. In the composition of the present invention, particles having an average particle size of 1 to 40 .mu.m are used so that the proportion of particles having a particle size of 50 .mu.m or more is 40% by weight or less. If the proportion of particles with a particle size of 50 μm or more exceeds 40% by weight, the dispersion stability of the liquid cleaning agent will be extremely deteriorated, and there will be a greater tendency to damage the equipment to be cleaned, which is not preferable.

If it is less than 3% by weight, the polishing power will be insufficient, and if it exceeds 30% by weight, the detergency will be relatively lower and the stability will also be lowered, which is not preferable.

In addition, the component (0) used in the composition of the present invention is a clay whose main component is smectite or a multi-chain structure type clay mineral, and examples of such clay minerals include montmorillonite, nontronite, Vermiculite, attapulgite, sepiolite, etc. may be mentioned. These clay minerals may be used alone or in combination of two or more. This (D) component is contained in the cleaning composition of the present invention in a range of 0.1 to 5% by weight. These clays impart thixotropic properties to the liquid composition and are highly desirable for stabilizing the dispersed water-insoluble abrasive over time. If the content is less than 0.1% by weight, the anti-settling ability of the abrasive will be weak when it is left still, and if it exceeds 5% by weight, the viscosity will be much higher than the desired viscosity during use of the composition, resulting in poor usability. This is not preferable because it lowers the temperature.

特に望ましい含有量は0.2〜1重量%である。A particularly desirable content is 0.2 to 1% by weight.

Further, a lower aryl sulfonate or a lower alcohol is added to the liquid detergent composition of the present invention as a hydrotrope. Component (D) used in the present invention includes sodium salts of sulfonic acids substituted with lower alkyl groups, such as toluenesulfonic acid and xylenesulfonic acid, and lower fatty acids such as methanol, ethanol, and propanol. Group alcohols are included. Component (D) is added to the composition of the present invention in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight. If the content is less than 2% by weight, the dispersion stability of the liquid detergent will deteriorate, which is not preferable, and if it exceeds 10% by weight, the dispersion stability will similarly decrease significantly, which is not preferable. A desirable content is 3 to 6% by weight.

As is clear from the results in the above tables, the liquid detergent composition of the present invention has excellent abrasive power as well as detergent power and foaming power, and also has extremely good dispersion stability of abrasives, etc. in the liquid agent. However, compositions that do not satisfy all of the requirements of the present invention have extremely low performance in at least one of them and cannot be used as an abrasive liquid cleaning composition. It can be seen that this is inappropriate for practical use.
