The present invention provides an ink roll for transferring printing ink suitable for pattern printing on wall covering materials such as vinyl chloride resin ink, and is provided with a doctor blade with a recess that is concave when viewed from the front. A blade is used to uniformly apply a certain amount of printing ink to a predetermined ink width on the circumferential surface of the ink roll according to the printing width of the printing sheet, and an elastic pressure is provided opposite to the ink roll. A printing sheet for wall covering material with a textured uneven pattern formed on the surface side is pressed between the cylinder and the ink roll, and pressure is applied to cover the printing ink on the circumference of the ink roll. A method for producing a wall covering material, which is characterized by transferring ink to a printing sheet and transferring ink to patterned areas of convex and concave areas in synchronization with the uneven pattern of the ink, thereby creating an elegant shading pattern all at once. be.

The conventional printing process for wall covering materials such as wallpaper is to print an abstract pattern on the flat surface of a wall covering sheet in advance, and then emboss it with a pattern that matches the pattern. There is also a Burley method in which ink is transferred to the convex portions of an embossing roll and the embossing roll with the ink applied to the convex portions is pressed against the surface of the wall covering material to create a so-called embossing process. There are printing processing methods.

That is, in this Burley method, as shown in Fig. 1, an ink roll c equipped with a doctor blade b is partially immersed in an ink pan a so that the ink is transferred by the ink roll c, and then the ink is transferred via rubber rolls d and d. The ink is transferred to the embossing roll e, and the printing sheet g for wall covering material is placed between the embossing roll e and the rubber impression cylinder f, and the ink adhering to the convex part of the embossing roll e is covered. Printing is performed by pressing the surface of the printing sheet g and transferring ink at the same time as embossing. According to these conventional methods, in the former method, products with a wide variety of patterns can be obtained by changing the printed pattern even if the embossed pattern is the same, but it is not possible to make the printed pattern and the embossed pattern appear in synchronization. Because it is difficult, it lacks three-dimensionality and natural difference, and it is not possible to create a relief-like finish that is rich in elegance.

In addition, in the latter method (burley printing method), only the valleys, which are concave areas, are colored with printing ink, and the embossing roll used requires smoothness in the convex areas, and the embossed concave areas are The unavoidable flaw is that only a uniform depth appears, lacking natural variation. The present invention eliminates and improves the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional products, and prints on a printing sheet for wall covering materials, such as wallpaper, synthetic leather, vinyl sheets, etc., which has an uneven pattern on its surface. The wall covering material manufactured by this method is designed to produce a printed pattern of shading that is synchronized and rich in elegance. Not only that, but the printing ink also adheres to the embossed pattern, and the intricate areas of the embossed pattern are expressed in a dark color without the unevenness, while the wide areas with many flat areas are expressed in a light color. In synchronization, the three-dimensional effect is reproduced even more faithfully.

In addition, the cloth pattern has an effect similar to the shading of the concave portions of actual cloth, creating a realistic relief-like effect. Next, to explain the present invention in detail with reference to the drawings, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, an ink roll 2 whose surface is chromium-plated is provided in an ink pan 1 so as to be partially immersed in the ink roll. A doctor blade 3 with a concave portion 8 having a concave shape when viewed from the front is supported by a doctor holder 7 and is opposed to the ink roll 2, and an uneven pattern is formed in advance between the ink roll 2 and the rubber impression cylinder 4. The printing sheet 5, which has been pressure-formed on the front side, is passed through and pressure is applied to transfer ink not only to the convex portions but also to the patterned portions of the concave portions on the front side of the printing sheet 5, thereby creating colored irregularities. Makes an embossed pattern appear.

In addition to the doctor blade with the recess mentioned above, one ordinary doctor blade 6 is also provided, and this doctor blade removes excess ink from the circumferential surface of the ink roll 2 before and after printing. Therefore, the doctor blade 6 is associated with the impression cylinder 4, and immediately after the pressure is applied by the impression cylinder 4, the doctor blade 6 rises and leaves the ink roll 2, and further, just before the pressure of the impression cylinder 4 is released. When the doctor blade 6 lowers, the ink roll 2
Excess ink is removed from the sheet and only the ink necessary for printing is always transferred to the uneven pattern surface of the printing sheet 5 by the pressure of the impression cylinder 4.

The ink adhering to the ink roll 2 can be uniformly adjusted by a certain amount according to the width of the paper by the doctor blade 3 with the recess 8, and the amount of ink corresponds to the degree of recess of the recess of the doctor blade 3. Since the ink transferred to the printing sheet 5 can be transferred by the ink roll 2, depending on the amount of ink transferred to the printing sheet 5 and the pressing action by the impression cylinder 4, the ink is transferred not only to the convex portions of the sheet 5 but also to the patterned portions of the concave portions. As a result, the intricately crowded areas of the embossed pattern are reproduced darkly, and the wide areas with many surfaces are reproduced palely, creating a three-dimensional effect that is faithfully expressed and a unique embossed pattern. In addition, in order to prevent ink from becoming excessive and sticky when the impression cylinder 4 starts applying pressure and when the pressure is released, an ordinary doctor blade 6 is used in conjunction with the impression cylinder 4 to roll the ink. 2 so that they can be moved toward and away from each other to serve different purposes.

By making a large number of holes 9 through the doctor blade 3 with the recess 8, when pressure is applied to the ink roll 2 and the printing sheet 5, some ink may return and accumulate on the doctor blade 3. In order to prevent it from flowing to the side, it is received downward through this hole 9. The wall covering material sheet for printing is, for example, a backing paper for wall covering material coated with the following foamable vinyl chloride paste to a thickness of 0.2 m71 L, and the surface is further embossed with textured texture. be.

Examples of the vinyl chloride paste include 100 parts by weight of vinyl chloride resin, parts by weight of DOP2O, parts by weight of DOAlO, 20 parts by weight of Rheophos, 5 parts by weight of stabilizer, 50 parts by weight of aluminum hydroxide, 5 parts by weight of foaming agent, and 30 parts by weight of titanium white. A mixture of the following is used. The printing ink is a vinyl chloride resin ink, and the solvent used is a mixed solvent of 1 part methyl ethyl ketone and 1 part toluene (by weight). Its viscosity is about 3 mm Zahnkup 120 seconds.
The doctor blade 3 with the concave portion 8 is made of steel with a thickness of 0.5 m1L and has a thickness of 5 mm. The other doctor blade 6 is made of steel with a thickness of 0.18 mm. The pressing force by the impression cylinder 4 is about 2 tons of linear pressure, and the printing sheet 5 passes at a speed of about 20 m/min.
Dry the printing ink at 00°C for about 30 seconds.
