せてノ々ツキングしている。しかしながら従来のこのよ
うなバッキング方法では基布裏面全体に均一に液状物質
を塗布することが容易でなく長時間を要しまたその装置
も大規模なものとなる上に乾燥工程に時間がかかるとい
う工程上の欠点と、出来上がった製品のカーペットは通
気孔部分に前記液状物質が浸入して固まるため通気性が
なくなり、長時間床部に敷いておくとカーペット裏面に
湿気をさそい、カビ等がはえる等保健衛生面における製
品上の欠点があった。まださらにクリーニングの際、液
状物質が溶融し基布からノミイルが抜は落ちる等の問題
点があった。

側へ貫通する通気孔4を多数有する。5は基布2の裏面
側に後述する方法でバッキング処理を施して形成された

してもよい。このようにフィルム7上に熱風を均一に吹
き付けることによって、フィルム7が溶融しその一部が
基布2とノミイル3との接触部位(この部分は全体に突
出している〕に吹き寄せられ、その間隙に深く浸入する
と共に通気孔4を熱風が通シ抜けることべより対応する
部位に貫通孔6が形成される。このように熱風処理を行
なった後ノズル8の熱風の供給を断つと、第5図に示す
如く基布2とノミイル3との接触部位に吹き寄せられた
フィルム樹脂により両者を固着しかつ通気孔4に対応す
る9<1s位に貫通孔6を有するバッキング層5が形成
されるのである。
