Abstract

PURPOSE:To fix easily a circulator, by providing a magnetic substance attracted in a magnet mounting hole of a case adhering a microwave integrated circuit element to a magnet of the >=2 of circulaters placed closely together. CONSTITUTION:Screw threads for screws 19, 19' are threaded to holes 12, 12' mounting the magnet of the circulator of the case 5', and the screws 19, 19' made of a magnetic substance are screwed to the holes 12, 12'. The magnets 17, 18 of the circulators 13, 13' are attracted to the screws 19, 19'. A ground conductor 16 under other microwave integrated circuit elements 14, 15 is bonded to the case 5' and the upper conductor of each element is connected. Thus, the circulators 13, 13' are fixed and the manufacture of the microwave integrated circuit is made easily. Further, the screws 19, 19' are removed after the end of completion of manufacture.

As shown in Figure 3, the circulator 7, various MI
The lower ground conductors of the C elements 9, 10.11 are electrically bonded to the housing 5, and the circulators 7.7 and various M
When creating an MIC by connecting the upper conductors of IC elements 9, 10, and 11, the magnetite (4 in Figure 2) of the circulator 7.7 is attached to the hole 6.6 of the housing 5 shown in Figure 1. However, when the circulators 7.7 are close to each other as shown in FIG. 3, the magnets 4 have a strong magnetic force, so they repel each other, causing the circulators 717 to shift from each other, or the circulators 7. 7 magnet 4
For this reason, as shown in FIG. 3, a jig is used to press the circulator 7.7 against the housing 5 using a Teflon rod 8.8.8. However, when creating a MIC, circulator 7
.. Since 7' is not fixed at a specific position, this jig is complicated, takes time to install, and is a hindrance to the work. There is also a method that does not use a jig by keeping the distance between the circulators 7 and 7 to such an extent that the magnets 4 do not repel each other, but this method makes the collection f1 larger than expected. This also has the disadvantage of increasing electrical loss.

(d) Structure of the Invention In order to achieve the above object, the present invention
In the MIC manufacturing process, when two or more circulators are installed in close proximity, they are attracted to the magnet that applies the bias magnetic field of the circulator in the hole in which the magnet is attached to the casing to which the MIC element is attached. The circulator is further characterized in that the circulator is fixed by providing a magnetic body having a structure that does not move in the direction of the magnet.

In the case of the present invention, for example, as shown in FIG.
9.19 Cut the screw for attaching 12.
12' is a screw 19 made of magnetic material as shown in Figure 5.
.. 19, and attach the magnetic screw of circulator 13.13 to this screw 19.19 (17.1).

Circulator 13゜13', other MIC 14.1
5. Attach the lower ground conductor 16 to the casing 5' and connect the upper conductors of each element. In this way, the circulator 13.degree. 13 does not move, so the M.I.C. can be easily manufactured. Therefore, there is no need for a jig for fixing the circulator, and there is no problem even if the circulators 13 and 13 are placed close to each other. After completing the MIC production, screw 19゜19

Note that the magnetic material does not have to be screwed into the magnet attachment hole 12.12, but may be any material that can fit into this hole 12.12 and fix the circulator 17.1.7 in close contact with the housing 5. For example, the 6th ryl 20V magnetic screw 21 (screw diameter is hole 12.1)
The length of the screw 21 protruding from the nut 20 is adjusted, and the screw 21 is attracted to the magnet 17.18, and the circulator 1 is attached.
3.13 may be brought into close contact with the housing 5'. In this case, hole 12.12 may be unthreaded, like hole 6.6 in FIG.
