Most fires that occur in the kitchen are caused by cooking utensils that are in use, and some fires occur when people leave the kitchen without extinguishing the fire because they are attending to guests, making phone calls, caring for children, or other errands while cooking. The fire occurred because the worker did not return to the kitchen for a certain period of time.

Some conventional ventilation systems are equipped with smoke detectors that detect smoke generated during cooking and automatically operate ventilation fans; If this happens, flames will be emitted along with the smoke, so if a collective duct is installed that communicates with the ventilation system installed in each room, such as in an apartment complex, and a collective exhaust is used, flames may enter the duct. There was a risk that the flames would flow into adjacent rooms and spread the fire.

For this reason, a fire damper was installed in the individual ducts that connected the collective duct and the ventilation system installed in the room, and was equipped with a damper that was fused by flame and closed off the individual ducts.

In addition, a fire alarm system is installed on the ceiling of the cooking area to alert you to the occurrence of a fire by detecting the smoke generated when a fire occurs or by sensing the temperature of the flame. However, even in this case, the distance from the cooking utensils that are the source of the fire is considerable, and it takes time for the fire alarm to activate, which increases the size of the fire and makes it difficult to extinguish it.

This invention consists of a detection device that detects flame light when flame enters the hood of a ventilation system that exhausts oily smoke generated during cooking in a cooking area, and a buzzer that sounds in response to a signal from the detection device. In addition, when the flame light is detected by the detection device, the operation of the ventilation fan built into the hood is stopped, preventing the flame from being sent into the duct by the ventilation fan, and preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent rooms, etc. At the same time, in order to efficiently ventilate the oil smoke generated during cooking, a detection device that detects the light of the flame is installed in the hood that is installed to efficiently detect the flame and notify you of the occurrence of a fire. This is what we got with the ventilation system.

Since the present invention is constructed as shown above, when used as a normal ventilation device, the blower 8 is operated by turning on the manual switch 18, and the shutter 8 is opened by the wind pressure of the blower 8, thereby reducing the amount of air generated during cooking. Oily smoke is sucked in through the suction port 3 of the hood 1, and is discharged outdoors by the blower 8 for ventilation.

Next, when a fire occurs on the cooking appliance 2, the flame is sucked into the hood 1 by the air flow taken in by the blower 8, so the light detection element 12 provided in the detection device 11 receives the light from the flame. The resistance of the sensing element 12 decreases, and the transistor TR2, which is normally OFF, turns ON as shown above.
When the relay switch RY is activated, the normally closed contact 17 connected to the electric circuit of the blower 8 is opened and the operation of the blower 8 is stopped, and the normally open contact 19 connected to the electric circuit of the buzzer 13 is closed and the buzzer 13 is closed. The alarm sounds to alert you to the occurrence of a fire.

This invention is equipped with a detection device that detects the light when flame enters the hood of a ventilation system, and the signal from the detection device activates a relay switch to sound a buzzer and stop the operation of the ventilation system's blower. This allows you to attend to guests, make a phone call, take care of children, or otherwise leave the cooking area while cooking, and if a fire breaks out in the cooker, the flames emitted from the cooker will be inside the hood. When a person enters the room, the detection device is activated, the buzzer sounds, and the blower stops operating, so you can know that a fire has broken out by the sound of the buzzer, and the shutter closes as the blower stops operating. It is closed to prevent flames from entering the duct through the exhaust port, and to prevent flames from traveling through the duct to enter the next room and spread the fire.A detection device is installed inside the hood of the ventilation system to detect the light of the flame. As a result, the flames emitted from the cooker are sucked into the hood by the blower, allowing for faster detection. As a result, fires can be detected earlier and extinguishing activities can be carried out before the fire becomes a major fire, increasing safety. This will have great practical effects.
