[Detailed description of the invention] This invention relates to a water heater that uses the exhaust heat of a bathtub.By more effectively utilizing the wasteful exhaust heat of the bathtub, it becomes more economical and efficient. It was devised to provide a hot water heater with good quality, and its gist was to form a fine thread inside the exhaust pipe of the bathtub, with the same diameter up to almost the center and gradually decreasing in diameter above it. A metal pipe extending in the vertical direction is fitted, a water supply pipe is connected to the lower end of the pipe, and a water discharge pipe is connected to the other upper end, and the metal pipe is fitted below the metal pipe to approximately match the shape of the lower end. A water heater using exhaust heat from a bathtub is characterized in that a ring-shaped water drip tray is arranged.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on the illustrated embodiment. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a bathtub, which is connected by a circulation pipe 3 to a bathtub 2 that uses gas, oil, or the like as fuel.

A primary exhaust pipe 4 is connected to the exhaust side of the bath 2, and a secondary exhaust pipe 5 is connected above it, and a back wind ratio 6 is interposed between the two 4. This is a conventionally known device configured so that the generated exhaust gas is exhausted outdoors.

Reference numeral 7 denotes a metal pipe fitted into the secondary exhaust pipe 4, which has a finely threaded shape and has the same diameter up to almost the center, and is formed so that the diameter gradually becomes smaller in the upper part. This is for warming the water supplied from the lower end 7a by the exhaust heat in the primary exhaust pipe 4, and discharging it as hot water from the upper end 7b.

The purpose of this dense spiral pattern is to make the surface area exposed to the outside as wide as possible in order to sufficiently absorb the heat inside the secondary exhaust stack 4. The reason why the diameter is small is to shorten the length of the pipe so that hot water can be heated and kept warm while being discharged faster.

In other words, the temperature inside the secondary exhaust stack 4 is high at the bottom and decreases as it goes upward, so the residence time in this high-temperature area is lengthened, and the low-temperature area is quickly discharged without radiating heat. This increases the amount of water that can be used.

8 is a water supply hose, one end of which is connected to a water supply source such as a water faucet 9 or a water tank (not shown), and the other end is connected to the metal pipe 7 mentioned above.
10 is a water discharge pipe connected to the upper end 7b of the metal pipe 7, and the other end is a hot water supply place,
In the illustrated embodiment, the bathtub 1 is faced.

Therefore, the water discharged from the water faucet 9 is transferred to the water supply hose 8.
The water flows through the metal pipe 7 and is supplied to the metal pipe 7. As the water flows through the metal pipe 7, it absorbs the heat in the primary exhaust pipe 4, heats the water, and discharges the water from the water discharge pipe 10 into the bathtub 1 and the like.

Reference numeral 11 denotes a water drip tray placed below the metal pipe 7. When water flows through the metal pipe 7, since the pipe 7 is cooled, dew forms on its surface, which grows and drips. The metal pipe 7 is for receiving water droplets and draining them to the outside from the drain pipe 11a.
It is formed into a substantially ring shape to match the shape of the pipe at the lower end.

In other words, since most of the water droplets are thought to collect on the pipe at the lower end of the metal pipe 7 and drip from there, it is possible to prevent these water droplets from entering the bath pot 2, and also to block the outflow of exhaust gas here. This is what we are trying to prevent.

Accordingly, in an example of the use of the present invention, the bathtub 1 is filled with about 70% of the normal amount of water, the bathtub 2 is ignited, and the water faucet 9 is opened.

The water discharged from the faucet 9 is then made to flow into the bathtub 1 to provide a constant amount of water. At this time, this water flows through the metal pipe 7 in the primary exhaust pipe 4. Here, the water is heated and turned into hot water, which is then discharged from the water spouting pipe 10, making it possible to significantly shorten the time required to boil the water using only a normal bath pot.

Since the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, the water discharged from the water faucet 9 etc. is warmed in the metal pipe 7 by the exhaust heat of the bath pot 2, and not only can this heat be sufficiently absorbed, but also The residence time is long in the lower part where the temperature is higher, and this time gradually becomes shorter in the upper part where the temperature is lower, so that the exhaust heat can be used more effectively, making it more economical and efficient.

Furthermore, most of the water vapor contained in the exhaust gas adheres to the metal pipe 7 as dew and drips, but these water droplets are discharged to the outside by the water drip pan 11 and enter the bathtub 2. Not only is there no problem, but this water drip tray 11 has various effects such that it does not interfere with exhaust gas discharge.
