Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare a health drink which can taken with little feeling of the bitter taste, by adding a masking agent and a sweetener to an aqueous solution containing a drug component and a bitter component. CONSTITUTION:Cyclodextrin (a substance composed of about 6-8 glucose redidues bonded together to form a ring), an edible surface active agent (e.g. sugar ester), etc. are used as the masking agent for the bitter component. The above masking agent, a sweetener, a flavor, etc. are added to an aqueous solution containing a drug component and a bitter component (e.g. tannic acid, bitter glycoside, etc.) (e.g. an aqueous extract of Fomes japonicus) to obtain a health drink agreeable to drink, and composed of about 20wt% of sweetener, about 0.3-2wt% of extract, about 0.01-0.5wt% of masking agent, about 0.01- 0.4wt% of flavor and remainig part of water, wherein the bitter component is clathrated with the masking agent.

るいは電子論的に包接して、苦味成分の分子外周をこの
ようなマスキングハリが完全に囲親してしまい従って人
が飲用に世する際にはその包体成分を直接苦味として感
知しない状態に至ることであって必ずしも化学結合的に
包体成分が変化するということを意味するものではない
と理IH1されている。
