In conventional printing devices, after printing is completed, the operator presses the operation button or turns the paper feed knob to raise the perforation to the position where the paper can be cut, and then holds both sides of the printing paper with his hands. Cutting into pieces required a relatively difficult operation. Furthermore, at this time, considerable care and skill were required to cut the paper along the perforations. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a printing apparatus that solves the above-mentioned drawbacks and facilitates the operator's paper cutting operation. That is, the first object of the present invention is to provide a paper cutting groove in the paper guide section near the paper feed mechanism in a printing apparatus that uses continuous printing paper having horizontal perforations, so that it is possible to cut the paper by hand or with instruments along the perforations. The purpose is to make paper cutting easier by pressing. Furthermore, a second purpose is to automatically feed the perforation of the printing paper to the position of the paper cutting groove in response to the operator's press of an operation button after printing is completed, or a print completion command, thereby making paper cutting even easier. . Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 shows an example in which the present invention is applied to a type drum type high-speed printing device. In FIG. 1, a type drum 1 is rotating at a constant speed in the direction of the arrow, and an ink ribbon 2 is wound up and reciprocated between an upper bobbin 3 and a lower bobbin 4 while being alternately reversed. Two upper tractors 5 and two lower tractors 6 are installed in total, four in total, and printing paper 7 is installed.
A tractor pin is engaged with the feed hole in the feed hole to perform the changeover operation. The printing hammer 8 prints the characters engraved on the type drum 1 onto printing paper, so when the characters to be printed come to the printing hammer position, a current is applied to the electromagnetic magnet 9 to attract the actuator lever 10. The print hammer 8 is struck to cause printing to occur via the ink ribbon 2, and the printed paper is sent out rearward by a paper discharge roller 11 while being guided by a paper guide 12. Although the above configuration is no different from the conventional device,
In the present invention, a perforated cutting groove 14 is provided at an upper position L1 apart from the center position 13 of the paper guide 12VC printing hammer 8.

In Fig. 2a, if the last printing is completed leaving a distance L2 from the printing hammer center 13 to the lower perforation 101 of the printing paper, by feeding the width printing paper by L, +L2, the perforation can be It can be matched to the cutting groove.

Conversely, by feeding the printing paper by n sheet length and then feeding it by L3, the perforations 101 can be aligned with the paper cutting grooves as described above. In the case of a printing device that uses a format tape to control the line feed format, insert an appropriate channel h of the format tape 15 at the perforation position of the paper.
Allocate and make a hole, then T2 from the perforation of the paper.
Assign another appropriate channel of the format tape 15 to the position and punch a hole. The channel h is necessary when aligning the sheets for the first time, and is shown as a perforation for purposes of explanation, but it goes without saying that it does not have to be located at a perforation. FIG. 2b shows an embodiment in which the perforation of the paper is fed to the paper cutting groove in the case of a printing apparatus that performs line feed format control using a format tape.

Referring to FIG. 2B, first, in order to align the paper, feed the paper until the H channel of the format tape is read. When the top of form switch 311 is pressed, the top of form register 312 is set Δ.
This signal passes through the OR circuit 315 and then passes through the line feed control circuit 316.
supplied to The line feed control circuit 316 is the line feed 1 drive circuit 3
17, the line feed and drive circuit 317 supplies current to the paper feed motor 318, and the paper feed motor 3
18 is rotated A. A tractor 5, a synchronization signal generator 302, and a format tape 15 are coupled to the paper feed shaft, and each rotates synchronously, so that the printing paper engaged with the tractor 5 is also fed synchronously. The sync signal generator 302 generates one pulse for each row sent, which is supplied to the sync signal read amplifier 304. The holes in the format tape 15 are read by the format tape reading section 303, and the results are stored in the format tape register 305. It will be done. The information in the format tape register 305 is sent to the h channel detection circuit 306.
This signal and top-of-form register 31
2 is subjected to an AND condition in an AND circuit 308, and its output is sent to an OR circuit 310. The OR circuit 310 is supplied to the line feed 1 output circuit 316 to stop the line feed operation. The printing paper 7 has now been sent to the position where the h channel has been read. In this state, the perforation of the printing paper is set at the hammer center position 13, printing is started, and the last printing is done at the 1st. Assume that the process is completed at the position shown in Figure 2a.
At this time, when the form delete switch 313 is pressed, the form delete register 314 is set, and this signal is supplied to the line feed control circuit 316 via the OR circuit 315, which performs the same operation as when the top of form switch is pressed. The difference from the above operation is format tape 7.
The printing paper stops at a position where the m channel cannot be read. That is, when the m channel of the format tape 7 is read, the m channel detection circuit 307 operates, and an AND condition is taken between this signal and the form delete register 314 in an AND circuit 309, and its output is sent to an OR circuit 310. . The output of the OR circuit 310 is supplied to a line feed control circuit 316 to stop the line feed operation. With this, the printing paper 7 is fed to the position where the m channel has been read, that is, the above-mentioned L3-T2+L2, and the position 103 of T2 from the perforation 101 is aligned with the printing hammer center 13. matches. The simplest embodiment in which the perforation 101 to be cut is automatically fed out to the paper cutting groove 14 is to press the form delete switch multiple times to feed out one form length multiple times and cut the paper at the perforation 101 to be cut. Groove 1
This can be achieved by matching 4. In order to further improve repeatability and align the perforation 101 with the paper cutting groove 14 by pressing the form delete switch, the interval L1 is set.
This is possible by ignoring the reading of channel m by the paper length corresponding to . Furthermore, in the case of line feed format control by a program using a format control buffer, line feed control for L and +L2 can be realized by software without performing a switch operation. When the perforation comes to the paper cutting groove, lightly press the printing paper above the groove,
The paper can be easily cut at the perforations by scanning the hand or a spatula-like or rod-like instrument laterally along the groove.
The idea of the present invention is applicable to all printing apparatuses that have a paper guide in the vicinity above at least one unit of printing mechanism and paper feeding mechanism in the basic configuration of the printing apparatus. Moreover, it goes without saying that the shape of the groove used to cut the perforations in the sheet by scanning the hand or instruments laterally does not matter. As described above, the present invention provides paper cutting grooves and presses a hand or an instrument against the paper to facilitate cutting of the paper along the perforations.
