At this time, the storage battery 3 is being charged by the charging circuit 17. When a power outage occurs in the commercial power supply 1, the switching relay 10 is deenergized and the relay contacts 11 and 16 are connected as shown in the figure, and the output of the storage battery 3 is converted to AC by the inverter device 4, and the lamp 2 is turned on with AC. It's becoming like that. Reference numeral 9 denotes an abnormality display device consisting of a voltage detector 14 and a light emitting diode 15. When the voltage of the storage battery 3 falls below a certain set value, the light emitting diode 15 lights up to indicate a drop in battery voltage. .

In the conventional device configured as described above, when the performance of the storage battery 3 is to be inspected, first the commercial power supply 1 is
The storage battery 3 is charged, and then the commercial power source 1 is cut off to create a power outage state, and the storage battery 3 lights up the lamp 2 with alternating current through the inverter device 4, and when a predetermined time has elapsed, the light emitting diode 15 of the abnormality display device 9 lights up. It was decided whether or not the storage battery 3 had reached the end of its lifespan based on whether or not it was. However, in such a conventional example, during a power outage, if the inverter device 4 does not oscillate due to poor contact of the relay contact 16, that is, the lamp 2 is not lit in an emergency, the storage battery 3 is in a no-load state. Over time, the battery voltage hardly decreases. Therefore, the abnormality display device 9 does not display a defective display, but displays that the performance of the storage battery 3 is normal. For this reason, there is a drawback that a normal display is performed even when the performance of the storage battery 3 is actually degraded. The present invention has been proposed to overcome the above-mentioned drawbacks, and one embodiment thereof is shown in FIG.

This embodiment differs from the conventional apparatus in that an inspection section A is provided in place of the abnormality display device 9 of the conventional apparatus, and other parts are substantially the same as the conventional apparatus. The inspection section A is composed of a light detection device 5, a time detection device 6, an AND circuit 8, a display device 7, etc. The light detection device 5 is placed close to the lamp 2, and receives the luminous flux from the lamp 2. The brightness of the lamp 2 is detected, and a predetermined detection output is generated according to this brightness. In addition, the time detection device 6 increases the output over time from the time when the relay contact 16 closes and discharge of the storage battery 3 starts, and the output becomes approximately constant when a predetermined discharge time of the storage battery 3 has elapsed. It's becoming like that. The display device 7 is configured to input both outputs from the photodetector 5 and the time detector 6 via an AND gate 8, so that both the output of the photodetector 5 and the output of the time detector 6 are When the value exceeds a predetermined value, a built-in indicator lamp (not shown) is lit to indicate that the performance of the storage battery 3 is normal. This display device 7 continues to display even if the commercial power supply 1 is restored from a power outage, and if you wish to turn off the display as necessary, you can reset it. In this embodiment configured in this manner, when a power outage occurs, the relay contacts 11 and 16 are switched as shown in the drawing, and emergency lighting by the storage battery 3 is started.

At this time, the output of the time detection device 6 is small and the display device 7 does not operate. When the predetermined discharge time has elapsed, the output of the time detection device 6 becomes sufficiently large, and at that time, if the lamp 2 is lit normally, the photodetection device 5 generates a sufficient output to operate the display device 7. However, if the performance of the storage battery 3 deteriorates and the lamp 2 is not lit normally, the display device 7 will not operate and will display a different horse. It turns out. As described above, the present invention includes a photodetection device that generates an output depending on the brightness of the lamp, and a time detection device that increases the output to a predetermined value as time passes from the start of discharging the storage battery,
Since it is equipped with a display device that indicates that the performance of the storage battery is normal only when the outputs of both the light detection device and the time detection device are above a predetermined value, the performance of the storage battery used in the emergency lighting device is Inspection can be performed automatically based on the lighting status of the lamp after a predetermined emergency lighting time has elapsed, and the brightness of the lamp during emergency lighting and the emergency lighting are the original functions of emergency lighting equipment. It is possible to determine the quality of the storage battery based on the time, and has the effect of accurately and reliably performing performance inspections. It is also displayed only when the lamp is lit at a predetermined brightness or higher after a predetermined time has elapsed. The display lamp on the device lights up to indicate that the performance of the storage battery is normal, so you can accurately and reliably check the performance of the storage battery just by checking whether the indicator lamp is lit or not. This has the effect that there is no risk of misidentification.
