    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 接続する両光ファイバの端部のジャケット層をそれぞれ
    定寸法ずつ除去して露出させた両ファイバを接続スリー
    ブ内に挿入して突合わせ、前記接続スリーブの両端部と
    それぞれ対応する前記両光ファイバのジャケット層端部
    との間に、内側から外側に向けて接着層、補強層、およ
    び熱、収縮チューブ層とを設けて接続してなることを特
    徴とする光ファイバの接続部。
