Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce residual stress of a tape and to reduce the occurrence of exfoliation of the tape, by a method wherein, in a device which winds an adhesive tape for protection and insulating around the outer peripheral surface of a coil such as reels, the tape is unreeled approximately in the direction of a tangent from a tape reel. CONSTITUTION:Winding of a tape 1 around the outer peripheral surface of a coil 12 is such that after the free end of the tape 1 is clamped by a clamp 14, a moving roller 5 is moved from an imaginary line position to a solid line position to draw the tape 1 in the direction of a tangent from a tape reel 2. In this case, by bringing a one-way rotating roller 6 into contact with the adhesive surface side of the tape 1, the free end part of the tape 1 is prevented from displacement. After the tape is drawn out, the moving roller 5 is moved backward to the imaginary line position, the clamp 14 is moved forward to the left togetherwith a forced press roller 15, the free end of the tape 1 is released, and the free end of the tape 1 is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the coil 12 by the forced press roller 15 for adhesion thereto. 力となって残り、経時変化とともにチーづが浮きはがれ
る原因となった。また従来はテープをコイルに巻付けた
後、テープを切断するのにその切断形状が鋸刃状あるい
は直線状となるカッターで切断していたのであるが、テ
ープのコイルに巻付けた巻終端の両側端がコイルから浮
きはがれやすかった。更に従来においてはチーづリール
から引き出されたチーづの自由端をコイルに貼付けるた
めニ、コイルボビンより幅の狭い弾性体上にテープの自
由端をのせるとともに、弾性体に兵#鴇真空吸猫用の孔
7il−設けて真空吸着にてテープの自由端を弾性体に
くっつけて位置決めし、そして弾性体をコイルに押し付
けてテープの自由端をコイルに貼り付けており、テープ
を巻終えてテープを切断すれば自然落下してきたテープ
を真空吸着で再度り11性体にくつつけるというように
していたのであるが、この場合、弾性体の幅がコイルボ
ビンの幅より狭いためにチーづをフコイドするこLがで
きず、寸たチーづの切断後の自然落下時にチーづ位置が
ずれやすく、テープが蛇行しやすいという欠点がやり、
接層°力の弱いテープではコイルへの自由端の貼り付け
かう甘くいかずコイルの自転でチー″jを奉伺ける際に
コイルのみが空転してしまいやすい欠点を有していた。
