Conventionally, this type of face plate was made by attaching paperboard to an iron plate, punching it dry to make lines on the paperboard, carving the lined parts with a cutter knife etc. to make the face plate, and carbon paper when making trial punches. The face plate is manufactured by marking the position of the striations and attaching pre-made shapes to match the positions, but all of these methods require skill and are time consuming.

There is also a method of pasting the film, paperboard, or synthetic material to integrate one side, but since it requires a knife to carve the lines, it is difficult to carve the lines while leaving the film behind. Moreover, hard paper or synthetic materials do not cut well and cannot be produced smoothly. Furthermore, there were drawbacks such as the need for a face plate to match the corrugated shape each time periodic punching operations were performed. The object of the present invention is to eliminate the deficiencies of the conventional face plate manufacturing method described above, and to provide a face plate that is easy to manufacture and can be processed even after being attached to a steel plate.

Therefore, the present invention involves pasting a reflective material or a cushioning material with good heat and current conductivity on an iron plate or an adhesive plate bonded to the iron plate, and pasting a material such as paper or a synthetic material on top of the reflective material or a buffer material with good heat and current conductivity. This is a method for manufacturing a face plate for paper box cutting dies, which is characterized by irradiating with pulse oscillation and carving necessary locations. Next, examples of the present invention will be described.

In the present invention, a laser beam is used to carve lines on paper or a chemical material, and in the embodiment shown in FIG. Then, the material board 3 made of cardboard or chemical material is pasted.

Then, the laser beam is pulsated to carve the lines, and at this time, the cushioning material 2 reflects the light or absorbs heat to prevent damage to the iron plate 1 below and the effects of heat. As shown in FIG. 9A, when the laser beam R is normally oscillated without using the buffer material 2, the grooved portion 4 becomes a rough surface, which is not preferable.

Even if the cushioning material 2 is used, normal oscillation of the laser beam results in rough surfaces on both the left and right sides of the grooved portion 4 as shown in the figure. Therefore, it is necessary that the laser beam be oscillated in pulses against the material plate to which the cushioning material 2 is attached, as shown in FIG. 9C. In this way, it is possible to carve fine lines with excellent edges and high precision. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 7, a film 5 is pasted on an iron plate 1, a cushioning material 2 is pasted thereon, and a film 6 is pasted on a material plate 3 as well. 6 does not necessarily need to be pasted. In the example shown in Fig. 8, a thin synthetic resin film adhesive plate 1' is used, and a cushioning material 2 is pasted on it.After carving, the adhesive plate 1' is attached to the iron plate 1. This has the advantage that the position of the grooved part 4 and the iron plate 1 can be determined accurately. Note that the cushioning material 2 remains on the grooved portion 4 after laser beam irradiation, but this may be left as is or removed. Pulse oscillation is carried out by attaching electrodes 8 and 8' to both ends of the discharge tube □ as shown in the block diagram of FIG.

The waveform is as shown in 16', 1U. Also, 1 in the figure
Reference numeral 8 is a cutting die, which has a cutting blade 20 and a cutting blade 21 protruding from the plywood board 19, cuts out a cardboard 22 as shown in FIG.
Apply step 3 and cut around. According to the present invention, since the material plate is irradiated with the laser beam by pulse oscillation, the material plate can be neatly carved with lines without causing the above-mentioned problems as in the case of continuous irradiation, and in combination with the effect of the buffer material. Moreover, it is easy and quick to manufacture, and is an excellent idea as a method for manufacturing face plates.
