In other words, the conventional process for removing residue from tundishes involves leaving the tundish for a long time (14 to 15 hr) to cool it down, and then breaking up the dregs with an air pick. 2-3
Not only was this process time-consuming and placed a heavy physical burden on the worker, but the efficiency of using the tanditshu was also extremely poor.

The present invention aims to effectively solve the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to provide a tundish which can easily and easily process residue, and whose useful life can be greatly extended. The gist is that in a handle-shaped slag tank which has a slag reception port on the upper part, a slag discharge port on the lower side surface, and a bottom plate that can be opened and closed to close the slanted bottom surface, the bottom plate is used to supply water and drain water. This is a slag tundish with a water-cooled jacket structure equipped with equipment.

The water cooling jacket 10 includes a water supply pipe 11 and a drain pipe 12.
For example, the cooling water supplied from the water supply pump 13 or the water supply main pipe (not shown) is connected to the water supply pipe 11.
The water is supplied to the water cooling jacket 10 through the water cooling jacket 10, and after cooling the bottom plate 5, is discharged from the drain pipe 12, and is drained to the drain gutter 14 or to a water treatment facility (not shown).

Fig. 4 shows another embodiment of the water cooling jacket structure, in which a water cooling jacket 100 has a cooling water circulation path 100a formed by a partition plate 100b, and the cooling water supplied from the water supply pipe 11 is directed in the direction indicated by the arrow. As shown in the figure, the cooling water circulates through the cooling water circulation path 100a and is discharged from the drain pipe 12.

In addition, in the embodiments shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the partition plate 10
b and 100b are configured so that they can also function as rib plates that increase the strength of the bottom plate 5.

Now, in the tundish 1 of the present invention, when the slag is injected from the slag receiving port 2, the bottom plate 5 becomes a water-cooled jacket.
, 100, the molten slag in contact with the bottom plate 5 solidifies and forms a thin solidified film 15 as shown in FIG.

The coagulated film 15 functions as an excellent heat insulating layer, protecting the tundish 1 and preventing the temperature of the slag from decreasing.

On the other hand, since the bottom surface 4 of the tundish 1 is a slope with the slag discharge port 3 at a low level, the entire amount of molten slag in the tundish can be stably discharged.

That is, the coagulated film 15 is generated immediately when the molten slag comes into contact with the bottom plate 5 and the side plates 6, and it contracts slightly during the coagulation, so the adhesion force between the coagulated film 15 and the bottom plate 5 and the side plates 6 is extremely weak. It is something.

Therefore, the slag adhering to the tundish 1 can be easily removed by opening the bottom plate 5 as described above and pushing it down from the slag receiving port 2 with a crowbar or the like, or by hitting the side plate 6 with a hammer or the like and applying a slight impact. It peels off and falls from the open bottom surface 4.

As described above, in the tundish 1 of the present invention, there is no need for the operator to crawl into the tundish to dispose of the residue, so the time for cooling the tundish 1 can be saved, and in addition, the residue can be easily removed as described above. The processing time has also been significantly reduced compared to conventional methods.

The tundish 1 of the present invention has a bottom plate 5 that can be opened and closed, and its structure is not particularly limited as long as it is sleeve-shaped; for example, it may be cylindrical or rectangular without any problem. do not have.

In the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the side plate 6 is divided into upper and lower parts, and the bottom part is widened. This further improves the ability to remove residue, and the repair of the tundish 1 can also be carried out by dividing the side plate 6. It can be done in good working condition,
If necessary, only the severely damaged side plate 6 can be partially replaced, and excellent effects such as reducing maintenance costs for the tundish 1 have been confirmed.

以上のように本考案の実用的効果は非常に大である。As described above, the practical effects of the present invention are very large.
