Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a mechanical moving part by pressing a finger touch input device provided on a TV screen monitoring an image picked up by a TV camera so as to extract a signal and controlling a universal head system by this signal. CONSTITUTION:The picture whose image is picked up by the TV camera 2 mounted on a universal head 1 is displayed on the screen of a monitor TV 4. A transparent plate 5 is fixed in parallel on the screen of the TV 4 via piezoelectric converting elements 7, 8. The transparent plate 5a corresponds to the center 4a of the screen of the TV 4. Output signals 7a, 8a of the elements 7, 8 are inputted to an arithmetic device 9 detecting the position and the calculated position information is inputted to an arithmetic device 10 calculating swing angle of the universal head systems 1, 2 and 3 by using the said information and a focal length 3a from a zoom lens 3. チツクを作動して雲台を移動し、画面の補正(以下トリ
ミングという。)をしている。従ってこのようなトリミ
ングでは、操作者は、モニタテレビと、ロークリエンコ
ーダ又はジョイスチックの両方に注意を集中しなければ
ならないため雲台制御の操作性が悪いという欠点があり
、またロークリエンコーダ、ジョイスチックの機械的構
成のため可動部の長期的信頼性に欠けるという欠点があ
