Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate mesh inbalance due to the deficit of a pawl at the attachment and detachment of a photosensitive body and obtain a copy of good quality by sticking a buffer member to the contacting surface of the pawl body of a coupling provided to the rotating shaft of a driving roll. CONSTITUTION:One side 15a of the coupling 15 is fitted to one terminal side of the rotating shaft of a roll 2 which drives the photosensitive body, and the other 15b is engaged with the pawls 15c; and the buffer member 20 of an elastic body is provided to the contacting surface 15d of the pawl 15c to transmit the power of a driving system 19. Therefore, even if the pawls 15c are out of phase during the attachment and detachment of the photosensitive body, the collision between the pawls 15c is relieved to eliminate the deficit of a pawl 15c, and variation in the speed of the photosensitive body and eccentric motion due to the mesh unbalance are eliminated, so that a copy of invariably good quality is obtained.

を設けて、感光体を脱着する際、駆動系より容易に切離
せるようにしだものが公知である。しかし上記従来の駆
動装置では、感光体脱着の際爪カップリングの一部が欠
けたり、また爪カップリングの噛合の不均衡によりベル
ト状感光体の回転速度が変化したり、偏心運動したりし
て、得られる°複写の面質が低下するなどの不具合があ
った。

りなる緩衝部材20がほぼ等しい厚さで設けられている

志の衝突を防止するため、爪15cが欠損するなどの虎
れがない。また、各カップリング15a + 15bの
爪15c間に介在された緩衝部材20が爪15c間に生
じるガタを吸収するため、噛合の不均衡により生じる感
光体1の速度変化や偏心動がなくなるため、常に良質の
複写が得られるようになるなど、信頼性も一段と向上す
る。
