Abstract

PURPOSE:To strengthen the close adhesiveness of a mark and a carpet, by a method wherein the base cloth surface of the carpet is preliminarily placed so as to be contacted with a hot platen held to a specific temp. and the mark held to a specific temp. is pressed to the carpet from the side of the sheet for constituting the mark by a mark mold. CONSTITUTION:The base cloth surface of a carpet is placed so as to be contacted with a hot platen held at 150-280 deg.C and a thermoplastic rubber sheet or a synthetic resin sheet for constituting the mark is placed on the desired surface position of the carpet. In this state, the carpet and the sheet are pressed from the sheet side by a mark mold held at 40-140 deg.C to perform weld molding by conductive heat from the hot platen and the mold. Because the sheet 3 is welded to the pile surface 4 of the carpet by conductive heat from the hot platen 6 and the mark mold 1, as the base cloth material 5, it is necessary to select a material which is not softened and shrunk by the temp. of the hot platen 6 and is not stretched even under high compression force.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for forming marks from carpen 1 to mat, and in particular, the present invention relates to a method for forming marks from carpen 1 to mat, and in particular, the use of thermoplastic rubber for general floor mats such as automobile floor mats, entrance mats, and indoor mats. The present invention also relates to a method for forming marks on a carpet mat, in which characters and picture marks made of a synthetic resin sheet are fusion-molded.

Conventionally, there is a method of welding a thermoplastic synthetic resin mark to a carpet surface using a high-frequency welder. However, this method requires high-frequency heating to be performed with the carpet piles completely compressed and the air between the piles expelled.
Combined with the low dielectric constant of carpet 1Ii1t,
It is difficult to obtain the temperature necessary for welding, resulting in insufficient welding. Therefore,
In order to achieve complete welding, the carpet and thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet are compressed under high pressure and welding is carried out under the conditions of Takayama no J's high frequency welder. However, because of that,
Sparking accidents often occur, resulting in a large number of defective products. In addition, the method of forming marks on the carpet surface using a high-frequency welder is useful when a vinyl chloride sheet with a high dielectric constant is used as the marking material, but it is useful when a thermoplastic synthetic resin sheet or a thermoplastic rubber sheet with a low dielectric constant is used as the marking material. When this is done, the heat generated by the high-frequency I-ruder is small, resulting in insufficient welding.

Alternatively, there is a method in which a mark is formed in advance using thermoplastic 4Bl resin or rubber, and the mark is fixed to the surface of the carpeller using an adhesive.

However, with this method, it is difficult to accurately, uniformly, and efficiently apply glue to a predetermined position on a hairy surface such as the surface of the carpeller 1, and to align the paste. In addition, it is difficult to completely compress the carpet pile, so if it gets wet during use, water will be trapped between the mark and the carpet, and it will not dry for a long time, adversely affecting the adhesive interface. Easy to cause peeling accidents.

The present invention was completed after extensive research in order to solve these conventional drawbacks. We discovered that by heat-sealing the mark to the carpet surface, regardless of its height, it is possible to easily form a mark with excellent adhesion horns on the carpet surface. In other words, the carpet base fabric side is placed in contact with a heating device kept at a temperature of 150 to 280°C, and the thermoplastic rubber sheet or synthetic resin sheet that constitutes the mark is placed at the desired position on the surface of the Y-PET. A sheet of thermoplastic rubber or synthetic resin is applied to the surface of the carpeller 1 by applying pressure with a mark molding mold kept at a temperature of 40 to 140°C, and using conductive heat from the heater and the mark molding mold. It is characterized by fusion molding at a desired position.

The thermoplastic synthetic resin used in the present invention is one used in the general market, typified by soft vinyl chloride. In addition, thermoplastic rubber refers to styrene butadiene block copolymer (SBS), styrene isoprene block copolymer (813), jM vinyl resin alone, or to these,
It is a blend of natural rubber and synthetic rubber, and is a rubber-containing material that exhibits excellent flexibility and practical physical properties in a non-crosslinked state. In addition, pigments, reinforcing agents, fillers, softeners, plasticizers, anti-aging agents, lubricants, stabilizers, etc. are added to this, and cross-wire rolling is performed.

The present invention is characterized in that the thermoplastic rubber or synthetic resin sheet 3 is fused to the pile surface 4 of the carpet using conductive heat from the heater 6 and the mark molding die 1. Therefore, it is necessary to select a material for the base fabric 5 of the carpet that does not soften or shrink at a temperature of 5186, and does not stretch even under high compression.
