Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce an impact produced when a head is loaded and to reduce greatly the damage inflicted on a read/write head or a floppy disk, by having a simple constitution in which a link structure is applied to a head loading mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A head loading solenoid 2 is energized, and a solenoid mobile iron core 6 is sucked toward an arrow 11. Then a pad load 1 is pulled centering on a fulcrum 13 via a pad load link 3 and moved down toward an arrow 12. The move-down degree of the load 1 varies by the intervention of the link 3 and in accordance with a curve C. The move-down speed is decelerated in comparison with the sucking speed of the core 6.
