Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the praticality of a sheet storing apparatus by providing a sorter with a plurality of bin trays which can be pivoted vertically by pivoting means, so that sheets stored in the bin trays are taken out sequentially from the upper tray first and on completion of taking out sheets, the bin tray can be automatically restored. CONSTITUTION:A sheet storing apparatus disposed adjacent to the discharge side of a copying machine comprises a plurality (ten in the drawing) of bin trays 2 (21-210) capable of pivoting on support shafts 6. Each end of the trays 2 is provided with a cam follower 5.
