Abstract

PURPOSE:In plate glass with china-painting or pattern on the back to be observed from the surface through the plate glass, to prepare plate glass with china- painting having restricted surface reflection, by attaching an ink film containing an acidic alkali fluoride to the surface, calcining it at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:The surface of plate glass having china-painting or pattern on the back is coated with an ink film containing an acidic alkali fluoride obtained by combining properly an acidic alkali fluoride as a main component with a resin binder, adding a solvent until it has a suitable viscosity. The adhesion is carried out by a direct printing means such as screen printing, letterpress printing, gravure printing, etc., or transfer printing means, etc. The glass is calcinated at 200-600 deg.C, to give plate glass with china-printing having restricted surface reflection.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a painted glass plate with limited surface reflection, and new products manufactured by the method of the present invention can be used for daily necessities, ornaments, works of art, and office work. When used for supplies, furniture, fixtures, etc., check that there is no reflection of light on the surface.
In addition, because the amount of light is reduced, the user is less likely to be dazzled, and the pictures and patterns on the back of the glass plate stand out beautifully without looking unnatural. It promises to greatly increase and improve practical value.

In order to observe the pictures and patterns on the back side of the glass plate from the front side through the glass plate, the inventors of the invention applied an ink film containing an acidic alkali fluoride to the surface of the glass plate and fired it at 200°C to 600°C. It has now been discovered that it is possible to produce glass plates with limited surface reflection which meet the above objectives.
