Abstract

PURPOSE:An edible printing ink, consisting essentially of a homogeneous mixture consisting of a specific paste, a sticking assistant and water, and if necessary a colorant added thereto, and having improved quality as an edible tablet. CONSTITUTION:A printing ink consisting of about 20-60wt% one or more thick malt syrup, glucose dextrin, isomerized sugar, gum arabic and caramel as a paste, about 3-50wt% lecithin, i.e. phosphatidyl choline as a sticking assistant and water. The printing ink is prepared by incorporating the paste with the sticking assistant and water in the above-mentioned proportion, incorporating a colorant in an optional amount if necessary therewith, and homogenizing the resultant mixture by the conventional method, e.g. using a kneader, or agitating, etc. The amount of the colorant to be incorporated is 15-20pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. printing ink in most cases. The printing ink has improved sticking power, develops color very well, and will not cause the so-called bleeding, blurring and blotting, etc. in patterns, figures, etc.

The ink for this type of printing includes: However, common characteristics are required. The requirements for 912 from the printing process are that it has excellent adhesion, that letters, patterns, etc. do not have any new annotations (N, JL, and Ishi Niji-no-h), and that drying is continuous and uniform. , good compatibility with colorants, etc. The requirements from the printing target are that the colors should coordinate well, be superior to bright IW, be 11, and not be discolored (12 and a half +?), etc.

Lecithin exhibits a particularly effective adhesion-promoting effect in printing, especially when natural pigments are used. Incidentally, among natural yarn pigments, there are few that are completely water-soluble or dispersible, and many that are yt and have low inter-ink dispersibility. The amount of this product is 8 to 50%.
