However, when filling these fillers, it is difficult to fill all the corners of the article or container, and the packing loosens after filling, resulting in a decrease in cushioning properties. Recently, thermoplastic resin foams have come to be widely used as such cushioning materials. However, the thermoplastic resin foam is pre-molded according to the shape of the stored article, and it is necessary to use a foam having a different shape for different articles, which has the drawback of not being universally applicable. As a result of research to obtain a packaging material with excellent cushioning properties that can be evenly filled into corners regardless of the shape of the article, the inventor found that foamed thermoplastic resin particles have fluidity and cushioning properties. However, if the foamed thermoplastic resin particles were used as they were, the product would be easily moved after being filled, and the foamed thermoplastic resin particles would scatter when unpacked, making handling inconvenient. The present inventor has developed methods for attacking thermoplastic resin foam particles 1 and 2.
- It was discovered that by mixing polybutadiene, it exhibits extremely excellent physical properties and is suitable for packaging articles, leading to the completion of the present invention. That is, in the present invention, in the container,
The gist of the present invention is a method of packaging an article, which is characterized in that the article to be stored is packed together with a cushioning material in which foamed thermoplastic resin particles are mixed with atactic 1,2-polybutadiene.

The atactic 1,2-polybutadiene to be mixed into the foamed thermoplastic resin particles is represented by the general formula H-CH-CH2-CH2-CH-HCH2nCH2, and is obtained by living polymerization of butadiene, and has polymer chains. Approximately 90% of it consists of 1,2-bonds, and it is a viscous liquid.

The mixing ratio of the foamed thermoplastic resin particles and the polybutadiene of Atactics 1 and 2 is within the range of 0.3 to 31<g of drying oil per 1 m<3 >of the foamed thermoplastic resin particles. By mixing atactic 1,2-polybutadiene, the atactic 1,2-polybutadiene adheres to the surface of the foamed thermoplastic resin particles and becomes sticky, but if the amount is less than the above amount, the adhesion is insufficient and each particle is scattered. do. In addition, if the amount of atactic 1,2-polybutadiene is greater than the above amount, the atactic 1,2-polybutadiene may not be attached to the surface of the foamed thermoplastic resin particles and may flow out and contaminate the container and other parts. It is not desirable because it impairs the sex. In the packaging method of the present invention, articles to be stored are generally stored in a container such as a cardboard box or a wooden box, and the voids in the container are filled with foamed thermoplastic resin particles mixed with the above-mentioned atactic 1,2-polybutadiene. .

The foamed thermoplastic resin particles have an attactic layer 1, 2 on their surface.
- Since the polybutadiene is attached, it is somewhat sticky, but since it is not fixed, it has fluidity and can be filled well into the corners of the void. The filled thermoplastic resin foam particles have atactic particles 1 and 2 attached to their surfaces.
- The polybutadiene is cured by the polymerization reaction of its active branched vinyl groups to form a tough solid film, which is adhered and fixed at the contact areas between the foamed particles. Therefore, the expanded particles are not scattered during unpacking, making handling easier. In addition, atactic 1,2-polybutadiene contains
In order to accelerate the hardening, it is desirable to contain, for example, cobalt naphthenate, lead naphthenate, or the like. Atactic 1,2-Polybutadiene
It is desirable that the foamed thermoplastic resin particles mixed with polybutadiene be packaged and filled with a thermoplastic resin film such as a polyethylene film bag.

By placing the bag in a thermoplastic resin film bag and filling the bag, it is possible to prevent the attachment of attic 1,2-polybutadiene to the stored items, and it is easy to fill and unpack the cushioning material, resulting in extremely efficient packaging. It becomes possible to do so. Next, the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a package containing stored articles M such as metal products.
A small amount of cushioning material made of foamed polyethylene particles 2 mixed with atactic 1,2-polybutadiene is filled at the bottom of the inside, and the stored article M is placed thereon. Then, the cushioning material is filled without any gaps and then the lid is closed.

This buffering material is made by adding about 1 kg of atactic 1,2-polybutadiene per 21 pieces of foamed polystyrene particles, and mixing thoroughly to coat the surface of the foamed polystyrene particles with about 1 kg of attic 1,2-polybutadiene.
. The stored articles M are filled in the container 1 in a floating state in a cushioning material, and the polystyrene foam particles 2 of the cushioning material have good shock absorption properties, so the cushioning effect is sufficient even against strong vibrations. Therefore, the stored articles M are packed extremely safely. Figure 2 shows attack 1, 2-
Polystyrene foam particles mixed with polybutadiene 2
This shows an example in which a filler is used in which a cushioning material made of polyethylene film is housed in a bag 3 made of polyethylene film, and the cushioning material housed in the bag 3 made of polyethylene film is made of polystyrene foam particles as in the previous example. Since the bag 2 maintains fluidity, the bag 3 itself deforms according to the shapes of the container 1 and the stored articles M, and has the effect of stably holding the stored articles M.

When the bags 3 are used, even if there are some gaps between the bags 3 in the container 1, the effect will not be reduced. Moreover, the bag 3 sealed and formed like a pillow is easy to handle, and only the corners of the stored article M can be filled.
It is also the most economical because it can be stabilized and used repeatedly. Note that the bag 3 may be provided with small holes that are large enough to prevent the polystyrene foam particles 2 from falling out. In the packaging method of the present invention, as described above, the attack 1, 2-
Since thermoplastic resin foam particles such as polystyrene foam particles 2 mixed with polybutadiene are filled and packaged together with the articles to be stored, it is extremely easy to pack the articles to be stored.
The corners can also be easily filled with cushioning material according to the shape of the article, resulting in a package with excellent cushioning properties. In addition, the foamed particles have an attack rate of 1,
Since it is sticky due to 2-polybutadiene, it does not scatter during filling or unpacking, and has the advantage that it can be used repeatedly as necessary.
