[Scope of utility model registration request]

A small tape cassette adapter used when a tape cassette smaller than a standard tape cassette is attached to a standard tape cassette recording/playback device, in which a display plate member, which is a separate member from the adapter housing, is attached to the adapter housing. An adapter for a small tape cassette that is attached to a body so as to cover an opening thereof, and the display plate member constitutes a part of the surface wall of the adapter housing.
