2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, some copying machines are equipped with an automatic document feeder (ADF) and a sorter in order to improve copying operations. In other words, multiple originals are stacked and stacked on the automatic document feeder, transported one by one onto the contact glass, copied as many times as the required number of copies, and the recorded recording paper is sorted into each bin of the sorter. is stored,
This process is repeated for all the number of originals. In this case, so that even if the originals have different copying conditions such as the number of repeat copies or copy size, they can be processed continuously, the originals are separated into groups by mounts and set according to the copying conditions, and the mounts are fed. When this happens, the paper is detected and judged to be a break in the original, and the number of repeat sheets can be changed from 3 to 4, for example.
Some devices are equipped with an automatic document feeder that is configured to change the copy content to a preset copy number, such as the number of sheets.

However, it is not possible for the operator to immediately know the division of each group by looking at the paper discharge status at the sorter, and the operator must check the number of repeat sheets and compare it with the original. Processing is troublesome.

First, FIG. 1 shows the general side of the copying machine, in which an automatic document feeder 2 and a sorter 3 are attached to the copying machine main body 1. As shown in FIG. This automatic document feeder 2 basically consists of a plurality of documents 5 stacked on a document tray 4, as shown in FIG.
While the documents are fed from the lowest one by a calling roller 6, only one sheet of the original 5 is sent onto the contact glass 8 of the copying machine main body 1 by a separation roller 7. Here, interleaf sheets 9 can be used to divide the originals 5 into groups so that even originals 5 having different numbers of repeat sheets can be processed continuously. This interleaving paper 9 has a detection hole lO formed at a predetermined position as shown in FIG. The setting is such that this is detected and determined to be a separation between document groups.

Therefore, in the copying machine main body 1, there are provided a separation sheet cassette 17 that stores separation sheets 16 along with paper feed force rollers 1 to 14.15 that store recording sheets 12 of different sizes. 1- is used to supply the separator paper 16 to the sorter 3 side.

In such a configuration, for example, as shown in FIG. 2, there are document groups I, ■, and In, and document group I
Assuming that the number of original sheets is 3 and the number of repeat sheets is 4, the number of original sheets is 3 and the number of repeat sheets is 5 for manuscript group ■, and the number of repeat sheets is 3 for manuscript group nt. , document groups l, ■, ■ are separated by placing interleaf paper 9 between them. Prior to the copying operation, the number of repeat sheets for the originals of each original group I, 11.111, is set in advance using the operation unit as 4, 5, and 3. Therefore,
When the copying operation is started, the first document of document group I is fed and conveyed to the contact glass 8, and the copying operation is repeated four times. As a result, the number of copied recording sheets becomes four, and the sorted sheets are sequentially discharged to the bins 13a, 13b, 13c, and 13d.

The same applies to the other two JMvJJ. When the copying process for the originals of original group 1 is completed in this way, interleaving paper 9 is fed. This interleaf sheet 9 is detected by the mount detection sensor 11, and as a result, the document group I
, ■, the number of sheets per repeat 1 is changed from 4 to 5 sheets for the preset document group The copying operation is performed in the same way as for document group I, but at this time, the separator paper 16 is fed from the separator paper cassette]7 by the separator detection described above,
As shown in FIG. 4, the three sheets of recording paper 12 stored in the bin 13d are traversed. After this, the number of sheets per repeat 1 is 5, and as in the past, 2 is the bin 13 for original group I before separation.
Subsequently to the sheets a to 13d, the sheets are discharged to the bins 13e to 13i. The same is true for document group ■, and the separation sheet 16 is stored in the bin 13
After the sheets of recording paper 12 are discharged, the recording paper 12 obtained by document group (2) is discharged into bins 13j to 13e.

Due to the presence of such a separator sheet 16, the operator can determine whether the recording sheets 12 ejected into the bins 13a to 13d correspond to document group I and the bins 13c to 13i correspond to document group H, etc. The parts can be easily identified and the workability of post-processing can be improved. Therefore, it is effective to use paper with a color different from that of the recording paper 12 (usually white) as the separator paper 16.
It may be of the same color as the recording paper 12 or may be larger than the recording paper 12.

Furthermore, if the separation sheet supply means 18 is provided as in this embodiment, the method of supplying the separation sheets 16 is not limited to that shown in FIG. 4, but also a method as shown in FIG. 5, for example. That is, after the recording sheets 12 corresponding to document group I are discharged into the bins 13a to 13d, the separator sheets 16 are supplied to and discharged from each bin 13a to 13d upon detection of the slip sheet 9, and the recording sheets corresponding to document group ■ are discharged. 12 to bins 13a to 13e
In this case, the bin 13 is used redundantly so that the paper is discharged at the same time. According to this, even if the number of bins 13 is small, they can be used effectively.

Effects As described above, the present invention is provided with a separator paper supply means that detects the separation between document groups based on the mount and discharges the separator sheets onto the recording paper in the bin. Accordingly, it is possible to easily know the corresponding separation position of the recording paper, and it is possible to facilitate post-processing of the recording paper.
