Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce an electroforming die for patterning by striking having excellent durability and transfer rate in the stage of producing said die for a striken dial by providing a conductive layer on the surface of a pattern formed of a curable resin, and forming an Ni plating layer on the surface thereof by a plating bath consisting of prescribed compsn. CONSTITUTION:Production of an electroforming die to be used in forming characters and patterns by striking on the surface of the dial, etc. of a timepiece is accomplished by placing a glass ring 2 on a blank material of paper, leather, etc. on which the characters and patterns to be transferred are formed, and sealing the contact parts between both by clay 3. A curable resin 4 is then cast into the ring 2 to reproduce the characters and patterns on the resin surface. A conductive layer 6 is formed by electrodeposition, etc. on the resin surface to form an electroforming pattern 5. Said pattern is electroplated in an Ni plating bath contg. sodium benzaldehyde 2,4-disulfonic acid at 5-50g/l rate, by which the electroforming die having excellent preciseness and corrosion resistant of the characters and patterns is produced.

Conventionally, the dial pattern Ct) processing methods include applying the pattern to the dial using a metal brush, spraying fine abrasive grains to create a satin finish, and cutting with a cutting tool and rotating a small grindstone. Some had dental patterns on them. However, it has the disadvantages of restrictions on pattern and type, requiring a lot of time for mass production, and limiting quantity for mass production. In addition, the stamped pattern dial plate is made by processing patterns on carbon steel such as alloy tool steel and heat treating it to hardness H.
It is manufactured by press-molding gold treated to about 4700 on a brass or nickel silver character blank 2+ and transferring the pattern.fc
The 10,000-loe method for creating patterns includes freon patterns using freon bite, cut patterns using a mailer cut machine, etc., spin patterns,
There are dental patterns made with a whetstone, etched patterns made by etching, etc. However, since the patterns are made on steel, delicate patterns cannot be made.In addition, patterns on natural leather, trees, Japanese paper, etc. can also be made using molds. It was not possible to make a sword in the original style. In order to fully express the idea, electroforming has made it possible to process deep blue patterns and patterns from the natural world into stamped patterns without letters. With this electroforming pattern ID, a precipitated metal with a U degree of about 500 to 600 Hv can be obtained by nick lumen casting, but the pattern pattern using conventional heat-treated copper material has a HV of about 700. When press molding is performed using a hammered pattern mold, there is a drawback that the pattern wears out and the life is short. (Mechanical properties such as tensile strength are also

Even if it were possible, it would not be possible to apply a load to transfer a 100φ pattern. Currently, applying a load of about 9/112 to 100 will cause damage or depression of the plaque, so we press and mold with a low load, but the pattern transfer rate is 60 to 70.

Figures 1 and 2 show the process of producing an electroforming mother mold. Figure 1 shows the fully developed pattern of a nonconductor, such as paper, leather, etc.
A glass ring 2 is placed on a material 1 such as gold leaf fabric, and the gap between the glass ring 2 and the material 1 is sealed with clay 3. The reason for the viscosity of 3 is to prevent the curable resin 4 from flowing out from the gap when the 1-ht curable resin 4 is poured. Next, a curable resin 4 is poured into the glass ring 2 to form a pattern.

Next, the relationship between the amount of the additive (disodium benzaldehyde 24 disulfonate) and hardness is shown in Figure 5.According to the experimental data, adding 97L or more of the additive has little effect on hardness. On the contrary, internal stress increases, causing warpage in the deposited metal and deterioration of mechanical properties, resulting in poor conditions.

As shown above, the stamping pattern mold for the dial plate of the N1 electric bath according to the present invention can be used to create patterns on natural leather, 4'-j wood, Japanese paper, etc., as well as conventional patterns. Not only can it be made into a mold, but it can also be formed on the dial surface while retaining the natural texture, making it possible to mass-produce dials with delicate and soft patterns at an extremely low cost. Land use has a great effect.
