Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 先端がエンジン燃焼室内に臨むよう配置される光導体と
    、燃焼室内を外気から遮断した状態で前記光導体を保持
    する筒状ハウジングとを有し、前記光導体によって光検
    出器に導かれる燃焼光の状態から着火時期を検出するた
    めのディーゼルエンジンの着火時期センサにおいて、前
    記光一体の先端部周辺に配設されたグローヒータと、グ
    ロー通電によるグローヒータの発大を前記光検出器に導
    くためのグロー発光導入部又はグロー発先導体とを設け
    、エンジン始動時に、前記着火時期センサによりグロー
    加熱が行えるようにすると共に、グロー発光からグロ一
    温度を検出できるようにしたことを特徴とするディーゼ
    ルエンジンの着火時期
