Abstract

PURPOSE:To put a diaphragm in piston motion with stable inertia control and improve the exchange efficiency of a speaker by interlinking all driving conductors with magnetic flux and increasing driving force, and holding the high- precision driving conductors in a gap magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:The magnet element 1 of a plane driving type speaker is constituted by clamping both flanks of a rectangular rod magnet 11 by inversely-L- shaped pole pieces 12a and 12b and fixing a linear magnetic gap. Upper parts of both end surfaces of the pole pieces 12a and 12b are formed arcuately to form arcuate magnetic poles 14. A specific number of elements 1 constituted as above are arranged at specific intervals and united together with a circumferential frame body 2, and arcuate corrugated auxiliary pole pieces 3a and 3b having arcuate magnetic gaps 31a and 31b are fitted to both end parts of the elements 1 and arranged facing the magnetic poles 14. All driving conductors 5 are interlinked with the magnetic flux to increase the driving force, and held in the gap magnetic field, and the diaphragm is put in piston motion with stable inertia control, improving the exchange efficiency of the speaker.

Conventionally, this type of planar drive type speaker was configured to have a magnetic field and a driving conductor arranged almost over the entire surface of the diaphragm, applying an excitation force of equal amplitude and phase to each part, and driving the entire surface of the pickup plate. Its features are that it is a non-resonant speaker with less standing wave vibration to avoid, and the diaphragm is flat.
It is known as a converter with a shape close to the ideal without the four parts that cones envy. However, in the conventional single-plane drive type speaker described above, in order to configure the drive conductor to be distributed over the entire surface of the diaphragm and to move freely without contact within a narrow gap magnetic field, it is necessary to have good dimensional accuracy of each part. However, in reality, the gap width of the magnetic field is widened, so it is not possible to obtain a strong flux density, and the conversion efficiency is generally poor. In addition, in order for the planar drive type speaker to emit a constant acoustic output in a predetermined band and to have flat support, the diaphragm must be supported evenly around the entire circumference with a high degree of integrity, and the diaphragm must be supported as a so-called inertia-controlled vibration system. However, this is difficult to achieve with conventional planar drive speakers, and the edges of the diaphragm have insufficient center holding ability, resulting in unstable operation such as contact between the drive conductors, making it difficult to use speakers with high output in the bass range. was difficult to realize.

In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention improves the strength of the air gap magnetic field, intersects the magnetic flux throughout the drive conductor, increases the vibration force, and maintains the drive conductor with a high degree of stability within the air gap magnetic field. In addition, it is an object of the present invention to provide a planar drive type speaker with high exchange efficiency by causing the diaphragm to perform stable piston movement under inertia control.
