Abstract

PURPOSE:To count accurately the using frequencies of a cassette tape, by providing a mechanical counter to take-up reel of the tape. CONSTITUTION:A tape 6 interlocking a clamping member 1e of a reel 1 is wound over a press spring 1c as shown by a dotted line arrow when the reel 1 is turned toward a solid line arrow. Therefore a press member 3 presses a ratchet 2 by means of the spring 1c as the time elapses. When the winding of the tape 6 is finished, the upper pawls 2b and 2b' on the ratchet 2 are detatched from a gear on a scale disk 4. Then the disk 4 is turned by an angle of a scale. Therefore the using frequency of the tape 6 is understood from the scale of the disk 4 if the disk 4 is set at zero at first.
