Abstract

PURPOSE:To sends a signal without using electric wiring by providing a gas leak detector which detects a gas leak and generates a warning signal and an acoustic generator which receives the signal from the gas leak detector and generates a necessary signal tone. CONSTITUTION:The gas leak detector 4 which detects a gas leak is fitted on the wall surface or ceiling surface in a room 2. When gas leak detector 4 detects the gas leak and generates a warning tone, a transmission controller 5 receives the warning tone and generates a signal tone. A gas breaker 6 equipped with the a reception controller receives the signal tone generated by the transmission controller 5 by the reception controller to cut off a gas flow passage. This constitution sends the signal tone by utilizing piping of gas without using electric wiring.

Gas leaks of flammable gases and toxic gases can lead to accidents, so there are gas leak alarm devices that detect these gas leaks and issue alarms. These alarm devices include those that issue an alarm when a gas leak is detected by a detector at the location where the gas leak is detected, those that send a signal to a central monitoring device and issue an alarm in a control room, and those that issue an alarm in the control room when a gas leak is detected. There are devices that automatically shut off the gas flow path by sending a signal to a gas shutoff device that shuts off the gas flow path.

Among these, all gas detectors that send an alarm signal when a gas leak is detected send and receive signals through electrical wiring installed independently of the gas piping. However, installing such independent electrical wiring is not only expensive compared to the gas leak alarm itself, but also general consumers tend to avoid it for reasons such as spoiling the aesthetics of the living room. It is. This is an obstacle to the widespread use of gas leak alarm devices.

This invention was made in view of the above points, and when a gas leak detector detects a gas leak and sends an alarm signal,
Sound can be generated using gas or other fluid as a medium by using an acoustic generator installed in a pipe that passes fluid such as gas without using independent electrical wiring, and a receiving control device that has a microphone installed in the same pipe. It is an object of the present invention to provide a gas leak alarm device which sends an alarm signal by sending and receiving. The present invention will be explained below based on the drawings.

When a gas leak occurs, the gas leak detector 4 detects it and issues an alarm using a buzzer or the like. This alarm sound is received by the microphone A of the transmission control device 5, the output of the microphone A is amplified by the amplifier B, and the sound generator C emits a signal sound within the gas piping. This signal sound propagates through the gas in the pipe as a medium and is received by microphone E. The output of microphone E is amplified by amplifier F and operates gas circuit breaker G to shut off the gas flow path. .

In addition, although the above example shows an example of using gas piping, it is not limited to gas piping as long as it propagates signal sound.
It may also be piping that passes fluids such as oil or water. Further, in the above embodiment, the signal from the gas leak detector 4 is transmitted to the acoustic generator C.
In order to communicate this, the alarm sound generated by the gas leak detector 4 is received by the microphone A, but instead of this, the alarm signal generated by the gas leak detector 4 is transmitted in the form of an electrical signal or an optical signal. The sound may be transmitted to the acoustic generator C using a wire or an optical fiber. Further, as the sound generator C, one having a frequency outside the audible frequency range can also be used.

As explained above, the gas leak alarm device according to the present invention includes a gas leak detector that detects a gas leak and issues an alarm signal, and a gas leak detector that is installed in a pipe through which a fluid such as gas is passed and receives the alarm signal and makes a signal sound. The system consists of a sound generator that emits a sound, and a reception control device that is installed in the same pipe at a location away from the sound generator and has a microphone that receives the signal sound that is emitted from the sound generator. When the detector detects a gas leak and sends an alarm signal, it can send the signal sound using gas piping without using electrical wiring, making the gas leak alarm system inexpensive and damaging the aesthetics of the room. Not only can it be installed without any problems, but it also does not require electrical wiring, which can be a problem during installation, so it is extremely effective when used in industrial pipelines, etc.
