には発生せず、ドリルが湾曲して加工精度が低下し易い
欠点があったのに対して、本発明に係るドリルにおいて
は2個のスローアウェイチップがドリルの軸心に対して
対称に配置されるため切削力が軸対称に発生する所謂バ
ランスカットが可能となり、ドリルの湾曲が減少して、
精度の良い穴あけ加工が可能となるのである。しかも、
ドリル中心部の切刃の軌跡はほぼ円錐形状となるため求
心性を有し、この点からも加工精度の向上が期待できる
のである。
