イルに流す電流の波形を図す図、第３図は従来の電磁超
音波変換子の指向性を示す図、第４図はこの考案による
電磁超音波変換子の実施例を示す図、第５図はこの考案
による電磁超音波変換子の指向性を示す図であり、１は
電磁超音波変換子、２はコイル、３は被検材、４は仮想
的な音源である。なお、図中同一符号は同一あるいは相
当部分を示す。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 導電性を有する被検材の表層部に渦電流を発生させるか
    、あるいは他のコイルによって上記表層部に発生した渦
    電流を検出するコイルを主構成要素とする電磁超音波変
    換子において、上記した電磁超音波変換子の主構成要素
    としてのコイルの巻回層が複数であって、かつ各層の断
    面がフラットケーブル状をなし、かつ外周辺に近づくほ
    ど巻回層数を少なくしであることを特徴とする電磁超音
    波変換子。
