内部に、一端がバルブロッカアームの一端に摺接する、
通孔を有するプランジャを所望隙間をもって嵌挿してタ
ペットボディ内部を第１油室及び第２油室に隔成し、前
記通孔には第１油室から第２油室に向う油の流通のみを
許容するチェックバルブを設け、更に翁記第２油室内に
はタペットボディ底部とプランジャとを互いに離間する
方向に付勢するリターンスプリングを設け、前記第１油
室には機関の潤滑油を導びいてラッシュ調整を行うよう
にしたラッシュ調整装置において、前記プランジャの頭
部等にシムを取付け、該シムにより多ペットボディとプ
ランジャ間のクリアランスのバラツキを調整したことを
